I travel from Texas to Albuquerque very often and always look over at PENNYS and think I should stop in. Never did before but today I did and was very happy with the entire experience. Great food and friendly staff. I will be back to eat there and make sure anyone that is with me will try it also. Great stop after long drive in the desert.
Penny's under new management, new menu, new people working. This is a must go and eat at least once or every other month. They can serve a large crowd or a small and their food is wonderful. Love the people working there too.

Stopped in late at night at 3 am because we saw the 24/7 open sign and bright white lights on, and a ole' fashioned diner appeal which was great. Walked in and got stared down by the employees and asked "how they could help" "Food or coffee?" We were directed to the next employee who clearly didn't want to help. After requesting coffee, the guy gave us two cups of coffee with no spoons and no creamer. Then never helped us again. After we were done,...
