The food is usually pretty good, but the quality and flavors are inconsistent. When they get it right, it's great.

Ordered tortellini with chicken and bacon. OK dish, needed more sauce and the sauce needed to be better seasoned.

Wy wife and I ate lunch at the Pig & Fig Cafe. You place your order at the front entrance and select a table (inside or outside). They bring the food to your table, but they don't offer any other service. Overall, our experience and the food were disappointing.
We felt that there was no desire to provide you with great food or excellent service. There is zero passion for quality, and they appear to just not care. The prices are far too high for this mediocre lunch. We will not return to the Pig & Fig restaurant.
Our meal:
“Big Cow Burger” - Hamburger and Fries
- White Bread Bun – Dry, flavorless, cheap grocery store plain style bun
- Hamburger Patty – Frozen Costco-style, pre-formed (menu says hand formed), greasy, well done (requested medium rare)
- Cheese patty – Pre-formed (not hand cut), Extra $2 charge
- Green Chiles – Extra $1 charge
- Pickles – Plain green pickles
- Lettuce and tomatoes – sliced
- Fries – Cold, dry, plain, shoe-string cut
- Condiments – Costco EXTRA-LARGE bottles of ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard (serve yourself)
“Golden Beet Salad” – Pickled beets, arugula, tomatoes, feta cheese, fig balsamic vinegarette dressing. Beets tasted very (too) sour (tasting like they were old and had gone bad). The dressing was too strong for the salad.
“Iced Tea” – Self-serve large plastic container of tea. The server provided plastic glasses with ice at the register. Good tasting iced tea, but had to go back to register to request additional ice. Additional refills were available at no additional charge.
“Service” – The restaurant is self-service other than they bring the plates of your order to your table (they ignore you afterward).
The person who worked at the register and brought out our food was friendly. He and another employee just chatted during our lunch. They didn't ask us if we needed anything or if the food was satisfactory.

This place used to be excellent, but now they are cutting corners with their food and hours. It seemss like it'll be a matter of time before we lose another food option.
Fall salad was good but would have been more appetizing without the browning cabbage otherwise was good. Pumpkin soup was good, strawberry lemonade was insanely sweet though (think koolaide with a ton of sugar). The pecan cheesecake was divine!

My family and I love going to Pig and Fig. Its a nice quiet peaceful place to go sit down and enjoy breakfast or lunch at. Of course my kids love everything in the bakery side. Their breakfast burritos are big and delicious. The chai tea is my favorite drink. For lunch my go to is their pork schnitzel, it makes me feel like I'm back in Germany. Taste so good !

Cute and clean place. Good portions and my turkey sandwich was delicious, it comes with a side of potato chips and a cookie which was delicious. Will try their other baked goods next time.

Ordered lunch for our office meeting today in person and everyone on their team, including the owner Laura, was so kind and helpful. They were super accommodating about placing a larger order a little early for the lunch hour and even offered to deliver it to our animal clinic in a timely manner. Food was excellent and decently priced for the Los Alamos area. Some highlights were the chicken + bacon tortellini and the BLT sandwich. We are definitely looking forward to ordering lunch from this place again! :)

This is about the third time this place has disappointed and I will not be revisiting again. I wanted the lunch special today on sourdough instead of a croissant and it became a big ordeal with an up charge so I opted for a salad again which as usual was disappointing. Very basic lettuce cheese, a few tomatoes, and some fried chicken That tasted like it came from Smith's. Almost $20 for something that I could've made myself for about six dollars. If you're going to charge prices like that, the food quality needs to be ramped way up. I won't be eating here again. Everything is always such a big ordeal whenever I try to order online, etc..

A very quaint and unpretentious eatery just off NM 4 in White Rock, NM with outstanding food; reasonable prices. Adequate parking, daily lunch specials and a casual atmosphere. Highly recommend you stop in for lunch or dinner on your return trip from Bandelier National Monument.

The Grilled Piggy Cheese sandwich was out of this world. A novel spin on the traditional grilled cheese, it has bacon and sauteed onions and mushrooms, too. Chef/owner has really made a delicious hot lunch with this meany item!
Perfect for memorable meals in a unique, artistic setting
I ordered 2 almond croissant and 2 hot cappuccinos. They charged $48.83. Not even Starbucks charges that much. So if someone wants a cappuccino from that place better think about it. I'm not going to go to Pig & Fig again. That's totally crazy.
