“We explored Amherst, Nova Scotia, today and ended up at The Old Warehouse Restaurant and Lounge. It was awesome! The atmosphere is very welcoming and laid back. We had fun playing pool.
Coming from Newfoundland I am always apprehensive about ordering fish and chips. Well what a wonderful surprise!
It wasn't cod, which is different for us, but it was just as good. It was 2 very generous pieces of haddock, excellent fries, coleslaw and an excellent tea biscuit. For dessert we had the toffee pudding which I highly recommend.
All the staff were so kind and attentive.
We really scored!! We will most definitely be back again on our next trip to Amherst...one of Nova Scotia's hidden gems.
