I highly recommend this restaurant because, firstly, the Italian dishes were delicious and prepared properly. Also the server was a very nice person and the meal was served in a timely manner. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable without being pretentious. Whenever I’m passing through Amherst, I will make a point of dining at Frank & Gino’s. Sure it’s right off the TCH!!
I had the Backyard burger. This was my first time at the Amherst Frank & Gino's. The burger was a perfectly flame broiled thick and juicy Angus patty topped with a bountiful amount of fresh cheddar leading to mouth watering sensations galore. The pickle topped was thinly sliced and presented professionally which isn't something usually given much thought with a burger. The onions and tomato and bun were fresh and crisp. Food was PHENOMENAL. On a business trip from Western US. Probably waited an hr for our food, poor lady seemed to be the waiter for the whole restaurant but was the best server we've had our trip here to Canada. Thanks!
