Due to not ever getting the chance to learn French at any time during my schooling the language barrier was a HUGE issue. I do everything possible to be respectful of the fact I'm unable to speak French yet using a translator didn't go over well. I was able to understand everything they said that wasn't very nice as translator kept translating what was being said while order was processed
