We had a great dining experience last weekend. Bistro East is highly recommended. Pizza and service were outstanding. Very comfortable with a great view.

Generous portions and delicious. Order the 9 inch pizza, it's plenty for one sitting. 12 you'll need a doggy bag. I rarely mention ambiance but this is a nice and relaxing place to have meal.

My fish was so greasy,i could not eat it, chips where tiny pieces .I ate one bite of fish and 5 fries..was charged ful price ,told there was no discount...But was offered a dessert...Sadly will not return ...Our server was very good...

We are fairly new to Nova Scotia and unfortunately this was the worst meal we have had since moving here a few months ago. We had brunch and couldn't even drink the coffee it was so strong and bitter. The waiter seemed very new and stressed out. Could barely eat the brunch skillet. It was floating in about a cup of grease and very small portion. So disappointing.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant when visiting Annapolis, the service was not great and the wait time for the food was far too long considering it was not busy when we arrived. Sad considering it has potential to be a great restaurant in a lovely location.

a child could make better food then this place and want the real truth look on trip advisor. they have 3.9 rating. it used to be until about 8 mths ago and now its not. i will not be back or recommend to anyone. the service is poor. when you pay with cash and the sever says now i have to go to my pruse to get you change something is wrong with this place. she never checked on the food once after serving it to us. we had to ask for drinks. and when i put a whole order of onion soup to the edge of the table after just giving it to me she never came to see why. we had to go get our bill to pay. and the dressing is not the greatest. since new people have taken over it has gone down hill. i will let people know to go here.

Our meal was wrong, the washroom was dirty and the toilet paper was see-through. Food was underwhelming. We ordered bread and dip for an appetizer and got it after our meal.

Probably the worst restaurant we have ever been to. Waited over an hour for fish and chips ! Ordered a side salad … never appeared. My advice AVOID.

The bread dip was great because I think it was brought in and just heated to order. The rest of the food was not great. Cold pizza, bland mussels, questionable fish in the combo platter. Would love to see this place get under 4 stars for an overall rating. People shouldn't be going here. I felt bad for the 1 young server dealing with a full room with little to no training. Even a bartender getting the drinks ready would have helped.
They need to make a lot of changes to win my trust back. 🤢

I would rarely leave a review but this place is obviously struggling. Over 1hr to get a drink (Even water), fryer oil obviously hasn't been cleaned in forever judging by what they served from it. They should be embarrassed by the food served. The cleanliness of kitchen you could see while paying was beyond gross. Understaffed and the ones that are there seem very untrained.

Unfortunately the other reviews on this place are accurate. The poor server was both left by herself and undertrained. Our drink order took over an hour and the food actually came just prior. Most meals were cold. My blacekend haddock actually had decent flavor but was cold and the smallest portion of fish I have ever seen. Definitely not worth the price and until management does something to shake this place down, it's not worth visiting
