“I was wanting to review this place and it kept slipping my mind. So glad I got to do it today. I’ve been here four times in 2 months and have tried their sweet aloha burger ( juicy patty with awesome toppings), fish and chips (perfect batter, light and crispy with second craving of tartare sauce) and then the steak. Let me tell you about the steak… a perfect cut, generously marbled and cooked to medium rare perfection. I know most wouldn’t order a steak in a cafe but here you absolutely must. Service? We sat down and the owner knew exactly what we wanted! When’s the last time a restaurant had such good customer recall? Please visit, you will not regret it.”

“A great place to sit outside and watch the sun go down. Had only intended to have a drink but ended up staying for the evening and having a charcuterie board as well. Would highly recommend if the weather is good and you want to watch the sun set by the water.”

“A nice drive to get here and well worth it! The food was next level delicious - the ribs are a must have. They have an extensive list of alcoholic beverages and I was able to get a refreshing mocktail! Would definitely recommend this spot for the amazing food - will be back again!”

“In town for a few days September 2023 and this became our go to place. Amazing that after our first visit staff treated us like locals, acknowledging us coming in and extremely attentive.Plenty of great beers to choose from - I found an affection for the Berry Tart Sour.Food options include food from a nearby establishment - the folks at the Fort Anne Cafe even brought our orders over to the brewery - nice.There are some really comfy seats by the fireplace - we were fortunate to be able to snag those on one of our visits.We'll be back!”

“I can't tell you how much my wife and I adored this cafe! We were just passing through when we stumbled upon this absolute treasure. The food? Oh, it was out of this world, and surprisingly affordable too! But what really made it special was the genuine friendliness of the staff. It felt like we were welcomed into someone's home. Trust me, if you're ever in the area, don't miss out on this gem. It's a solid 10/10 from us!”

“I love the Poke Bowl. I’ve had both the fresh greens and the rice bowl options. I love that there’s so many options. You get a lot in one bowl. So many fresh veggie options to choose from. I also like their environmentally friendly bowls and forks. A definite must go to place when you’re in Annapolis Royal next and need a meal. And why not grab an ice cream next door at their sister shop 1 Scoop 2 Scoop.”

“Favourite East Coast Coffee Shop. As a certified coffee enthusiast I can confirm that Sissiboo is the real deal! Everything I’ve tried from them has been amazing - from freshly brewed beverages to tasty treats, my taste buds are always satisfied. Their staff is usually quite welcoming & friendly, although I’ve had a few not-so-friendly experiences. This café is a must-visit spot every time I stop into Annapolis Royal. Highly recommend if you’re looking to sip some delicious coffee overlooking a gorgeous view! :)”

“Amazing customer service! Super friendly and accommodating.We ordered a combo plate which offered more than enough food for 2 people. The wonton soup was the best I've had in Canada!Due to Covid, they have only been serving take out. They have an organized system that keeps people from entering the building to pick up orders and they bring the order out to you.Would be a great option for a to go lunch that could be eaten while sitting on the grounds of the fort, overlooking the water.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable options here.”

“This is your perfect mom and pop local pizzeria. Everything you want is on their menu and the inside of their restaurant is the epitome of Nova Scotia small town style restaurants that give you the best nostalgia. Their crusts on their pizza, in my opinion, is hit or miss. Some days its well risen and fluffy, and then other days its can be a bit underproofed. My wife disagrees with me wholeheartedly and thinks its perfect. Other than that everything is 10/10. The price is good, the food is good, the service is emaculate and a shining star on how it should be done. They're the perfect spot for take out.”

“I had a wonderful breakfast with my daughter, she had French toast and I had omelet both excellent and the service is so welcoming, the food definitely had flavor and not to forget presentation is Fancy! At affordable price! I enjoyed the coffe, but I believe is matter of preference how strong or soft taste in coffee we all have, but ot was fresh and right temperature. Also don't forget to stop and take some yummy! desserts In their shop.”

“Travelling with siblings on a road trip down memory lane this fall. On our first stop in Digby, we had heard that the meals at this place were fantastic so want to check them out ourselves.Very fortunately we got in without a reservation and I’ll tell you we were not disappointed in the atmosphere, wonderful service and first rate seafood we experienced.The scallop trio and lobster rolls ewe snarfed to wash them down were the best we’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed… of course that is unless you forgot to make a reservation. ?”

“The coffee is decent. Just a little below McDonald's and Tim Horton's. But the donuts. WOW. The donuts are amazing. So most and delicious.We ate here twice on vacation. The first time our order was missing 2 items and our breakfast sandwiches were missing the cheese too. Thd second time they got it right. Their food is acceptable, almost good but slightly bland”
