“You just cannot help to get scallops at every establishment for a town known for scallops. These were a lot chunkier than the other spots and the crust they developed was great. Chowder was a bit small for the portion but at least there were more seafood morsels than other spots. But it still doesn't feel like a chowder to me. I had to at least get one order of fish and chips, and it hit the spot. Not overly battered, light, flaky, and condiments were a great touch to a tasty fish.”

“We visited this afternoon and the service was above and beyond! The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff even treated a member of our group to a special treat after hearing that our friend had had a less than satisfactory experience at a different restaurant in the area. “I recently had a great experience at The Crow’s Nest restaurant. It is a casual dining seafood restaurant on Water St in Digby NS with a fantastic view of the Annapolis Basin. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our party of 6 wandered in (off season) and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Tables were set for 4 but they set a table for 6 in less than 2 minutes. We all ordered a bowl of seafood chowder and each couple split haddock bites and fries. The chowder came; it was rich, hearty and ready-to-eat temperature wise - not blistering hot but neither luke-warm, bordering on cool. A very good variety of white fish and shell fish. This seafood chowder was some of the best I’ve had. The haddock bites came and our waitress split each order for us. There were again, substantial portions cooked exactly as we asked. We all took most of this away with us as the bowl of chowder filled us. All this awesome food, great views, and an absolutely professional server for a very reasonable price. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night. I/we would highly recommend this establishment and plan to return in the future.”

“my family has been going there since the very beginning when they first opened in Digby. Evelyn is such an amazing person. she has been a huge comfort to the family when my mom passed away. the service overall is second to none and never had a bad meal there at all. living in Dartmouth makes me miss recardos pizza all the time”

“We eat here whenever we are in Digby and sometimes we even make the 30 minute drive just to eat here. Everything we've had from the menu is excellent, with the Pad Thai being our favorite and we always start off with a couple Donair Egg Rolls....so good!! :-)”

“I had lobster, lobster roll, fish and chips, and chicken fingers, and they were all delicious. Lobster is sold at street price, so I recommend asking for the price before ordering. It was more expensive than I thought.”

“While on our honeymoon we had stopped here for a midnight snack. We had two experiences.The first , Though the kitchen was closed a man over heard we were on our honeymoon and offered to buy us a Shot. The bar tender offered us a Rock lobster and it became our tradition all the 6 days of our honeymoon to remember the two men Joshua and Nate who we connected well with. Our bartender was such a sweet heart!Our second experience again arriving for our Rock lobster, we had another server who seemed very sweet and had a gentle spirit. She seemed to be under stress from a man bothering her so we had played a game of pool (my first time) until she had locked the doors to make sure she was alright❤ both experiences were memerable thank you so much guys ?❤”

“I love that I know it’s going to be a great meal every time we come. If we had a rough day and need comfort food this is the sport- or if we’re celebrating with the kids. “It was an absolute incredible experience. The crew was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgable. We went on the afternoon tour and there was lots of fog but we still got to see 5 humpback whales. They got quite close to use and lots of time was spent enjoying watching them. I highly recommend.”
