Ordered steak medium/rare, got well done, told waitress we didn't have time to wait for a recook, ate it. Was given a full price bill, paid it. Suggested she tell the managment that this would have been a good situation to toss in a free desert or cut on the bill. She then had the nerve to say the steaks weren't well done. I then regretted giving her a tip. They will never see another dollar of my money. They could have turned their mistake into a customer winning situation. How stupid!

Went for lunch. Had the "Haddock burger" - was a full fish meal. My wife had the steak/frites - perfectly cooked. Service was the definition of fast and friendly. Totally outstanding - and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Looked ok, not too busy on a Monday lunchtime. Placed our order and waited and waited. Noticed a couple who were seated after us were eating. Finally got a server's attention who went to check on our orders. Our original server then came back to table and asked what we had ordered because they had lost the order! He did offer a grudging apology but that was all. We left and found a very superior place elsewhere.

First time in Annapolis Royal and we were very happy to stumble upon the Fort Ann Cafe on our travels. The food was excellent and the deserts were just as great. the waiter was very nice and offered helpful suggestions that did not disappoint.
