JoAnn makes amazing chocolates. I spoke to her for a bit and you can tell she really takes pride in her work as she crafts each chocolate by hand. I bought an assortment for $25 CAN to take home and share.

A lovely eclectic store selling amazing homemade chocolates, an array of used and new books, cards, and snacks, coffee and tea. And it's location on historic Lower St. George St. in Annapolis Royal is gorgeous.

On Market Day, I drop by Joanne's for some freshly made chocolate. My particular favorites are dark ginger and dark cranberry. Her chocolates may be the best in Nova Scotia.

The coffee is amazing. The salted caramel chocolate is almost as divine as the ginger covered chocolate. The company is second to none. Great spot to meet friends and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.
