Good food... If you are willing to wait 1.5 hrs for the first appetizer to come. No lie. I'm told this was a one-off disaster for the kitchen. Waitress was friendly. Good food eventually came. Wait time was disgraceful and wildly unprofessional. In the end the restaurant gave us 50% off. A reasonable concession, perhaps, to the awful wait we enduring, with three hungry kids on vacation no less. Ask yourself if it is worth the risk of experiencing this before going.

If you find yourself anywhere near Annapolis Royal, you would be doing your taste buds a disservice by not eating here. Quite possibly the best restaurant in Nova Scotia. In fact, it is good enough to be worth the trip to the area just to eat here. The meal equalled (and for some courses, exceeded) the one we had at a Michelin starred restaurant in the Netherlands a week prior.

It's worth taking a drive to eat here - we had the rotisserie chicken, the lobster, and the chicken club. Everything was perfectly cooked, the sides were incredible, and Dara was great - we very much enjoyed bantering with her.
