surprisingly good food! a little lacking on presentation, but who cares if it’s delicious right? french onion soup was good, bruschetta fantastic and the halibut dish was awesome. stop here for a bite!

Such a warm atmosphere and a lovely menu selection. Our server was so kind and welcoming. The Caesar salad was a particular highlight - it had a drizzle of balsamic over top that was unique, unexpected, but gave the flavour more depth and sweetness.
We were seated right away, and had a lovely spot on the banquette. Overall a very pleasant evening.

Food is tasty, service is good, atmosphere is great. They have a wide variety of things of the menu, even sushi to my surprise. I got pasta and it was delicious. Its just a little to expensive for my liking, I personally thought the portions could have been a little bigger considering how much every costs.

A real treat to the pallet,clean,clean clean,friendly,homey and not far off the path for locals or visitors.The service is excellent with hardly any wait time, the dishes are simple affair but does not scrimp on presentations.

Here.Food was stifling hot to the point I had to wait 20-30 min for it to cool to eat.The French onion soup was great (other than burning the entire inside of my mouth), the mozzarella sticks are hardly enough to rave about, and the Italian sausage gnocchi was far from flavourful.Service was unheard of, literally. Waited at least 20 minutes to settle the bill, ended up walking to front counter since server never returned.Atmosphere was nice, and expected.Will not return.

The sushi here is delicious, best Sushi I had outside of Halifax! I have also had wide ranging culinary experiences across the globe and can say that I am not familiar with the different dishes at Gabrieau's, but the Sushi is phenomenal (on multiple visits, and take out - Dynamite Maki, Spicy Tuna Roll, Caribbean Maki, across the board, great flavour and done well.
