“Candid is a great brewery. Stop in here every now and then, and the tapped beer selection continues to grow in terms of different offerings, and taste amount of taps over cans. Love the joint, the beer is great, and the service is always super friendly, and top notch! Great staff, great beer - geez, what more in life does a person want for?”

“Really loved this place, the only thing is that the tables are really close to each other, not a big deal. But overall, I loved this place. Went last night and the food was amazing! I got the fall apart ribs with fries, and when my plate came out the fries were still hot! I loved it, very good service and the waitresses were very kind, came around asking if we needed anything else. I will definitely come back here.”

“I started eating Wheel Pizza when I went to university back in 1992 and it hasn’t changed a bit. It’s unique and I’m not sure why it’s unique. Sauce maybe, amount of cheese maybe…but I love it and it’s worth a try if you haven’t tried it or haven’t had it in a while. Although I may not be the diehard that eats it ever time I pass by Antigonish I really enjoy it when I get the opportunity to have it again. It should be noted that I have never been to The Wheel once where I have not seen the owner (Mike Hassin) there working away. No doubt that has more to do with the quality and consistency remaining the same all these years!”

“The sushi here is delicious, best Sushi I had outside of Halifax! I have also had wide ranging culinary experiences across the globe and can say that I am not familiar with the different dishes at Gabrieau's, but the Sushi is phenomenal (on multiple visits, and take out - Dynamite Maki, Spicy Tuna Roll, Caribbean Maki, across the board, great flavour and done well.”

“My wife and I ordered takeout and both orders the same thing….half and half with rice and a salad. This was by far the best takeout we’ve had in Antigonish. Food was very fresh, very neatly presented, and delicious. Can not recommend anymore highly.”

“For a small "fish shack" located at the BlueFin Tuna Interpretive Center has amazing seafood chowder. The haddock bites were moist, the batter was light and not greasy. Skip the coleslaw if you can as it was a huge disappointment.”

“If you're visiting the province, one of the three Coldstream locations are a must visit. Nova Scotians LOVE their Coldstream. They are best known for their vodka and coolers but they make dozens of different products. Flavoured vodka soda, gin, cream-based liqueurs along with many other base mixes. The vodka is nothing out of the ordinary but the locals are simple people and the products are great as a mix. Coolers are nothing special but great if you're looking for something light. One of our favourite things here was the 'bar'. Samples are ALL free and they've got everything available to try. If you're sitting in, you can have cocktails made by the bartenders. Order from the menu or check out the rotating weekly cocktails. The service here is a 10+. Staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and on the ball. Be sure to tip them! The one downside of this place and the reason for 4 stars is that the location is NOT accessible. A few stairs will take you up to the bar/retail area as well as washrooms. Merchandise all on the main floor. A bit surprising for a newer location but then again, accessibility is hugely lacking in the majority of this province.”

“Stopped in for lunch...I had the combo pizza and Susan had the Portuguese fish cakes...Chose the thin crust, it was wicked good...Susan loved the fish cakes so much that we bought 4 frozen ones to take home...Great lunch...hope to make this a stopping spot when traveling between Halifax and the Cape”

“Said 20 minutes on the app for food we ordered takeout. Got there 30 mins after. Then when I arrived she said another 30 mins. We'll that was fun, but im not sure if the app just gives the same time even if it's busy.”
