“I am new here so I was just looking for a new place to go for coffee. Had a cornmeal cake and a coffee. Coffee was strong for me so next time I will try hot chocolate. Gentleman was super kind.”

“I stopped by to pick up slices for the kids, none were fresh so the staff went out of their way to make a fresh pan for me. This was very much appreciated by me. While waiting for fresh slices, I reviewed the menu and the non pizza items really stood out to me and interested me to the point that I will make a return trip only for a non pizza menu item.”

“Absolutely to die for tomato cheddar soup, their homemade bread products are out of this world. The sweet ladies that work there are just so darling. Prices are great. Great place to grab lunch and be warm and cozy. Never dissatisfied!!! Two bowls of delicious soups with homemade bread and drinks for about 15$ can't go wrong.”

“One of my fave spots! We often go on Fridays for their lunch pizza special and it's consistently delicious. I love to try a new appetizer and each one has been delicious. The salads are huge! The feta cheese is worth getting with the side of olives- so good. The servers are always so kind and so quick, even when it's really busy.”

“Pretty good food, nice waiters and waitresses, took a little bit to get our order in but I’d assume it’s too give the customers time to order so not really trying to complain there, good family restaurant.If you’re going there with a family that also has young kids then please try and sit away from the bar (there are places to sit where you don’t even notice it).Other than that pretty good place 8.5/10”

“My coworker and I were working across the street and stopped for lunch here. He accidentally ate my burger (Veggie burger) and since I'm a vegetarian I was stuck with a meat burger I couldn't eat. They were kind enough to exchange the meat burger for a beyond meat burger, even though it wasn't their fault. Solid customer service, wouldn't hesitate to come back.”

“The nice young blonde girl served us and she was fantastic, just didn’t get her name. The pizza and garlic fingers were 100/10. I don’t usually like brown sauce but they may have switched me over. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Also didn’t make me feel gross afterwards like most pizza does, was not super greasy at all.”

“Dropped in for my daughter's bday supper (her request) with all dozen of her friends. The staff absolutely destroyed the task and made everything perfectly and weren't stressed at all. I hope those staff love their job cause I'd love to order from them again ”

It would be beneficial if they could enhance their speed of service for a more efficient customer experience.The menu at Tim Hortons offered a wide range of coffee, baked goods, and breakfast items, providing ample choices. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, and both were satisfactory in terms of taste and quality. However, I noticed that the coffee was not as hot as I would have preferred, being served lukewarm. It would be preferable if they ensured that hot beverages are consistently served at the desired temperature.”

“WOW! My boyfriend and I decided to stop in HGC before returning to New Brunswick ( currently in the Pictou area for work ), and man, are we ever glad we did! The gentleman serving us was an absolute angel ( sorry for forgetting getting your name! ) and totally helpful in guiding us through their products and allowing us both to get the strain we desired - only $100, too! “Everything about Slice of Home Bakery and Cafe is great. I’ve been going since they opened a few years ago and enjoy the delicious homemade food and friendly service. They have catered for me on two events and everything was excellent. They know their business. Their food portions are generous and the cost is very fair. I highly recommend Slice of Home. It’s a rare find!!!”

“New owners have Really turned this place around! The Staff is amazing!!!This place is Exceptionally clean, serves one of the cheapest Beers in town and has a good sized VLT room. Every Thursday the Karaoke is bumpin’ and super fun for this small town. Overall a great place to kick back and chill for a few drinks!”

“Would have rated it higher but recent menu change warrant a lower rating from me. The last 2 times ordering Dan-Dan I noticed they had removed the peanut butter and nuts from the ingredients and substituted some type of hot spices. This changes the whole character of the dish and makes it quite hot which it was not before. I will be reluctant to order this again, but on the positive side, the cashew chicken is still great.”
