“Popped in today while visiting the area for work. First of all, great access and FREE parking! There is street parking as well as about four spots in a small lot just next to the building. I ordered an oat milk latte and a cranberry orange muffin. First of all, the latte was 10/10 (and I find a local coffee shop everywhere I go - I have had a lot of lattes!) Secondly, the muffin was delish! The barista said his muffins were not as great as some others as he doest consider himself a baker. I DISAGREE. It was perfect and still warm! If you are in the area, definitely make time for a stop here! Worth it.”

“I was genuinely impressed by my experience at A&W in Canada. This is what fast food should look like in the United States. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was the quality of the beef. A&W promotes its beef as grass-fed and raised without added hormones or antibiotics, and that commitment to better ingredients makes the meal feel completely different from typical fast food. The burger tasted fresh, flavorful, and much closer to something you would expect from a local restaurant than a drive-through chain.

The presentation also made the experience memorable. The fries were served in an actual metal fry basket instead of being dumped into a flimsy cardboard sleeve. It is a small detail, but it made the meal feel more intentional and enjoyable. The fries stayed crisp, were easy to share, and looked far more appetizing.

The absolute highlight, though, was the chilled glass mug. Drinking an ice-cold root beer from a heavy, frosted glass mug is an experience that disposable cups simply cannot match. The mug was freezing cold, the root beer stayed perfectly chilled, and it added a nostalgic, classic-diner feeling to the entire meal.

A&W Canada proves that fast food can still be convenient without sacrificing ingredient quality, thoughtful presentation, or the overall dining experience. American fast-food restaurants could learn a lot from this model. Better beef, real serving baskets, and chilled glass mugs should not feel extraordinary—but they do, and A&W Canada deserves praise for keeping those standards alive.”

“We stopped here on the way back from the ferry. The food was delicious ( I had the Cobb salad and my daughter had the skillet meatballs) The service was impeccable, I can’t remember the girls name at the front, but she said she usually closes, she was so welcoming and helpful. I hope that her manger gives her a raise because she sure deserves it. She was just sooo nice ! They have a small gift store in the front , a distillery and make their own beer. If you’re driving through here it’s definitely recommended! A++++”

“We have been eating v&e's chinese food almost every day since April 15th. The food has always been hot fresh and amazing every time!! Fresh grease fresh vegetables and always fresh food. It is all from scratch and amazing. We would highly reccomend this restaurant. We love Jessica and all the staff. Cudos to the chef who always ensures fresh amazing quality food as well.
