Blue Lobster Public House Reviews
We stopped here on the way back from the ferry. The food was delicious ( I had the Cobb salad and my daughter had the skillet meatballs) The service was impeccable, I can’t remember the girls name at the front, but she said she usually closes, she was so welcoming and helpful. I hope that her manger gives her a raise because she sure deserves it. She was just sooo nice ! They have a small gift store in the front , a distillery and make their own beer. Twice now I came to sit on the patio only to get ignored. Came in by myself looking for a meal and had wait 20mins before I got up and left. Got seated but that was it. Went to Andre’s and had a drink and menu ordered within 5 mins.
Had a lovely time! Thanks team Blue Lobster for a wonderful Lunch Date experience!

Blue Lobster Public House offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like "Cheers," with friendly and attentive waitresses. While service can sometimes be slow due to understaffing, the staff's friendliness makes up for it. The restaurant has a big city brewery vibe despite being in a small town, and its patio is especially amazing during the summer. The building is a heritage site, adding to its charm. The food and beer are of high quality, with popular dishes including the blackened chicken, fish and chips, and the roast turkey sandwich. Customers also enjoy the smash burger, meatball sub with dill hot sauce, and poutine. The beer battered fish and chips and various flights to try different beers are highly recommended. The chowder is actually amazing, and the Nashville chicken is great too. On weekends, the restaurant features live music which adds to its lively atmosphere. Visitors have praised the cold drinks and highly recommend dessert options like the cheesecake with caramel sauce. Despite some slow service reported during a road trip, many guests find the food and drinks very enjoyable. Overall, Blue Lobster Public House is considered a hidden gem, especially for those traveling from elsewhere to enjoy its great food and inviting environment.
