I'm wondering how long it takes to cook breakfast... 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast, bacon? They served people who ordered after us first.. We had to ask did you forget about our order. Way too long! Bacon was overcooked and not even warm.
Good food, good service. Didn't wait long either.
This used to be the place to be when the Acadian Lines bus would stop here moon's ago. I'd not been in years, my friend wanted Lobster Rolls, so I was surprised she mentioned this place, as I didn't have high expectations. I was right! As a vegetarian all I could get was a salad, and I got sweet potato fries, they had no lobster rolls, so my friend opted for fish and chips which used to be delish. Well, she said it was disappointing, and for me, I waited FOREVER to be served. Like how long can it take to put a salad together? She was almost finished her meal by the time I got mine, it took almost half hour. The Spinach salad was nothing to write home about, and for the price, you'd think they'd have given a fresh roll. The fries were nothing special. IN any case, it had been a good 40 years since I'd been, I'd not be going back wasn't cheap either! I had water with mine, that's a glass of tap water, and my order was around 26
We had a great diner experience here. We were passing through and needed to find lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the fish tacos, the fish batter was flavorful and the accompanying corn salsa was spicy and packed with flavour. The house salad was fresh and dressed to perfection. The staff were friendly. I'd come back here again!
The service was excellent. The food was hot and served quickly. Delicious. The best club and hot hamburger sandwich, I've had in a long time. Very clean. Definitely will be going back.
It was good. The service was good the guy at the front was welcoming and perfectly friendly. The price was very good. The value was excellent.
It's kind of an old school diner but no table service which is different and I thought a tiny bit unusual but altogether fine. It was very busy.
Chowder was ok but cool. Fish was very dry.
Great seafood chowder
Eggs Benny was awesome
It's 11 pm in Ottawa and I'm stuck in bed with a nasty cold and wishing so hard that I had a bowl of Snow Queen chowder at this very second.
They have good service and good food. Place is always clean.

For a spot that prides itself on breakfast I was less than impressed. Asked for soft egg benedict and they were well done. I'd understand if they were busy but they were weren't. There really should be a discount when your meal is not cooked as requested. I informed them but wasn't feeling like making a big deal about it that morning.

Service was good, and the atmosphere isn't bad at all. The food was tasty and wasn't too bad price wise. Would definitely go back.
