Stopped into Highwheeler Cafe in Baddeck and I’m so glad I did! Coming from Waterloo, Ontario, the place instantly reminded me of home, everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibes were just perfect.
I had the breakfast platter (the fresh bread was unreal) and an iced caramel latte that was sooo good. We also ordered their Lox bagel which was also super fresh and delicious, along with their homemade pop tarts for our road trip which were great as a snack. Honestly, such a cozy spot with amazing food, coffee, and vibes. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in town!

What a great place! The staff are super friendly and those chocolate macaroons! Omg! To die for! We had one and before we left Baddeck we went back and bought a whole package! Literally the best I’ve ever had and we grew up eating these. Definitely recommend you stop by!!

My wife and I went for breakfast. I had seafood chowder for breakfast...it was the best seafood chowder I ever had... and I've had seafood chowder at many restaurants. My wife had the egg salad sandwich on porridge bread...she found it very delicious. Try the apple turnover and the apple struddle... you won't be disappointed. We are glad we stopped there for breakfast. Thank you.
