My husband and I brought our 2 boys to Cape Breton, we drove a long way from PEI. When we arrived it was already 19:00. Lakeside was one of the restaurants that was still open.We were greeted professionally and the overall services were good. We came near the end of season (we were told the restaurant would be temporarily closed one day after our dinner) so they did not offer everything in the menu. They readily agreed to wait for us if we ran late.
We arrived and asked to be seated outside. There was no seating available so she graciously gave us soft seating for a drink while the guests finished their meals.
The cocktails were perfect. Icy cold but not watered down in ice. The Pepsi for our son was served with the same care as the cocktails.
