This was the perfect stop after a Cabot Trail road trip! The view of the water is truly breathtaking (honestly, the view alone merits a high eating and makes it particularly noteworthy as a stop). The food was delicious (especially dessert - I loved that rhubarb pie), and our server was very kind.

I understand that many of the low ratings are due to the size of the lobster roll. I will concede that mine was on the smaller side, but it was very very tasty, and it came with lots of fries cooked to perfection, so I was not disappointed nor hungry after my meal.

Kim, our waitress, was super friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find that almost everything was gluten free (except the rolls, crackers, and ice cream) - so I got the all you can eat dinner and enjoyed the mussels, seafood chowder, and lobster. The owner has Celiac disease, so they even had a gluten free brownie and coconut whip for desert. My wife had the carrot cake and a scoop of ice cream and liked those as well. I tried the Glenora single malt whiskey and enjoyed that as well.

Waited 45 minutes for a non-full restaurant. The "fish"-cakes were cold and 99% potatoes, the salmon in my Alfredo linguine was absolutely rotten, and the cost of it all was definitely not justified.

We stopped at this quaint little place on our excursion and had a cup of the seafood chowder. It was the best chowder I have ever eaten. 10/10.

Paid almost $40 for this lobster roll that’s the size of my finger! Probably because they’re the first restaurant, they have ridiculous prices and portion size. Staff are warm and welcoming, atmosphere is very relaxed. View is amazing.

Absolutely a must have when you visit PEI.Food is a bit pricey, but with the serving size, atmosphere, and friendliness of staff, it's definitely worth a visit to try it out.We will definitely come back to try the other food on the menu.Come visit amd try this resto.
