6 of us stopped here for lunch.
Best chowder I've ever had! We all loved our food.
And the server with the Irish accent was such a sweetheart.
HIGHLY recommend!

My family ate there for the first time tonight with visitors from Calgary. I am retired and I have eaten a lot of lobster in my days but the lobster tonight was the worst I have ever eaten. The meat was sticking to the shells it was way over cooked and dry. Never eat lobster there again. The mussels were good and the seafood chowder was just barley OK. The waitress was very pleasant and the atmosphere was decent.

Excellent food and incredible service! We stopped here on a whim passing by to Baddeck and it ended up being the best meal of our time here in Nova Scotia! The all you can eat lobster dinner was the best; fast refills and great quality! The lobster linguine was also a hit at our table, lots of lobster and great flavour!

Beautiful location overlooking the water. I would go back again just for the key lime pie dessert! Shockingly good! I had a good lobster roll and my wife had crab cakes, which she thought were excellent!

Disappointing and annoyed service which made us leave without eating. My wife is highly allergic to dairy and before we ordered we asked what the alternatives are or what can be changed in case it contains dairy. The waitress wasn't obviously in the mood for our request. She didn't listen properly to our questions and as a result had to walk several times to the kitchen to clarify it. When she passed a colleague or the owner itself she said something that made him roll his eyes. That was the point when we left. There is a big silver plate stating about food allergies and that they are happy to help. But if that's the result....no thank you. We went to Baddeck and had a great dinner there. Maybe here they are spoiled by passing-thru tourists.

Such a great place! Lobster was delicious, seafood chowder was amazing, fish and chips were oh so yummy! And for dessert—the best key lime pie! Service was very attentive. Don’t miss this nice place to relax beside the water with a great meal.

Under new ownership effective June 2025 and the new owner, Dale, was a very welcoming host. Dale is a local lobster fisherman and catches all the lobster served in his restaurant. All the seafood is locally sourced, prepared fresh and delicious. The seafood chowder was the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the cesear salad with lobster and hubby had a lobster dinner. Everything was delicious. The local Nova Scotia wine was very good. Dale and his staff are perfect hosts and I highly recommend eating here

The Lobster Gallery is under new ownership beginning June 2025 and the new owner, Dale, is a local lobster fisherman. He and his staff are friendly and professional and all the seafood is local and prepared fresh. Dale catches all the lobster served. The seafood chowder is the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the salad with lobster and hubby had a lobster dinner. Everything was delicious as were the Nova Scotia wines available by the glass or carafe. I highly recommend a visit.

The lobster, mussels, and chowder special is a great value and was delicious. The owners and staff are great hosts to us who travel via motorhomes allowing us to overnight in their parking lot and waking up to one of the most beautiful views in Nova Scotia. Highly recommend
