Food was decent! I got a Caesar Salad with Chicken. Chicken was cooked well, cheese was fresh and it seemed like the croutons were homemade. Overall a pretty light and good meal!

Free parking with enough spaces available where you shouldn't have an issue.
Come inside the door and turn left at the check-in desk to see the cafe. Several four-seater tables, one six-seater, or a few .cushioned chairs by the fireplace. A couple of picnic tables outside as well. Well staffed and very friendly & attentive. For Cape Breton, I would say the menu is quite standard for selection. I tried the pan-seared haddock (cornmeal dusted) with rice & a bit of seasonal veg. It was quite good, well cooked, decent size to leave me full. My friend had the won ton nachos with side of chilli sauce. They were good as expected, serving of a dozen I think with some shredded carrot, scallion maybe? (Going by memory and not the menu). She also ordered the kids' burger & fries and I mentioned how smart it is for businesses to offer kid meals to adults. Why don't more places do this? Sure, the meal is smaller and sells for less money, but the customer is happier with the smaller portion size that they want, and more likely to be a repeat customer. I hate when I get a gigantic meal out that's too big for any person to finish, but you are either travelling or not going immediately back home, so a doggie bag isn't practical.
Clean private bathrooms.
I'd definitely go back here next time I'm in town.

Exceptional dinner and service. The haddock and the ribs were delicious. We had a bonus, entertainment at 8pm. A local musician played his guitar and sang. I was a good evening in Baddeck.

Location is great but food was mid for the price. The dining room is just a few tables in the bar and lobby so not really a restaurant.

Husband and I were craving burgers and this place did not disappoint! Jo was our server and he was so attentive, smiley and made us feel right at home.

Started with the crab cakes which were delicious! The Garlic and Brie burger really hit the spot and my husband loved the bacon burger. I’m particular about buns and this was a delicious toasted brioche bun.

Will definitely be visiting again our next time around in Baddeck!

Pan seared halibut was cooked well but bland ... No seasoning on rice or fish. Our table was dirty and sticky, drink menu had greasy finger prints on it, as did the bar stools, the big mirror behind the bar was very dirty. I would not recommend a .EAL there.

This facility is run on a shoe string budget but unfortunately the string is broken. Tired and drab would be a good way to sum it up. Add to that over priced. Read all the 1 and 2 star reviews below and you get the picture. Do not stay here. There are much nicer places to stay in Baddock.

My husband and I won a stay a play package for the Inverary Resort and Bell bay golf course. We added an extra night to the package, which we paid out of pocket for. To start, the spa made me feel like an extreme inconvenience for trying to book services there, when you call to book it says that they’re closed on almost everyday of the week but they’re willing to come in if you book multiple services which is what I was trying to do and the entire process was long and multiple people had to call me back on different days it was messy. I ended up canceling and going to my local spa. I got promised a beautiful king room and instead of the main lodge room we agreed upon we ended up in an old musty tiny room with carpet in the cambell hall? It was dusty, musty, and possibly had pets in it at some point. (I don’t have pets and have allergies) the beds didn’t have proper bed protection or fitted sheets, just flat sheets over mattresses as well as a duvet insert sandwiched between two more flat sheets. The bed overall was very uncomfortable and left me feeling stiff after two days of sleeping on it. Upon booking this two night stay I mentioned to the booking lady that this would be my husbands and I honeymoon as we couldn’t celebrate due to covid, I had been saving for this trip for a long time and was promised that we would get some small gift or something personal from the resort as a honeymoon gift, which didn’t happen. Lakeside restaurant on property… breakfast was terrible, they serve bagged instant egg, and grey hard boiled eggs, cheapest sausages on the market, cheapest hash brown, and I work in the restaurant industry so I know. The “fine dining” dinner was far from fine dining the food was okay for dinner but my salad came out soggy, the lettuce wasn’t properly dried before dressing. We also got the spinach salad which was good, the mussels which were good and the salmon which was okay. The wine was nice, and the dessert we had was nice too. The best part of dining was the servers, they were all wonderful and lovely. Bell bay was a beautiful course, it was in great shape. The only downfall was that they didn’t have our t time in their system even though it was booked well in advance, but I think that was a resort mistake and not a bell bay mistake. The staff at the course worked quickly to get us a new tee time and they did a wonderful job. The highlight of the trip was the heated pool which we did take advantage of. The bartenders were great and made delicious drinks, as I mentioned before the servers were lovely. The town of Baddeck is very sweet and will always be a favourite of mine but I will likely never return to the Inverary.

Stayed here with a tour group for 2 nights. Our room was depressing, unvacumed, and had a tv that was 18” diagonal. The furniture was old, bathroom heater all rusted. The bed was comfortable and clean. The buffet breakfast was Ho- hum. We don’t be back!

The reception lady was polite, and helpfull, with lots of information for us and other guest. The room was quaint, clean and suitable for our purpose. We found the bathroom quite small, but for a historic inn, that's to be expected. A full Buffet breakfast was included in the price, which was lovely.

We didn't stay at the resort, but had dinner at the restaurant one evening in Baddeck. The meal was good and nicely presented. The restaurant has a nice view of the water and has a casual atmosphere.

A beautiful location, we had a lovely view of the waterfront from our window. Quiet room, had all the amenities needed. Pool and hot tub available to guests which is always a bonus, it was very clean. We spent time in the lovely bar, the staff working there (Joy in particular) were very friendly and accommodating to us, there was a really positive atmosphere. We also ate in the bar, the food was lovely. We didn't have breakfast included, but we didn't expect it due other accommodations we visited with the same arrangements, but there were enough options only a short walk away from the resort. We felt relaxed, safe and secure, there was ample parking here too which is always a bonus. Would happily stay here again. Many thanks.
