Would love more vegetarian options such as soup, veggie burger, quesadilla or salad with cheese.

Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese sandwich, veggie wrap, caesar or garden salad

Excellent home-cooked meal, the team was working hard (very busy!) Worth the wait.

Best burger I have ever eaten, chips were light and crispy, lightly spiced. Cakes were spot on and huge! Service was friendly and helpful. Sat beside the river in the sun. Great find ☺️

Best of everything, came all the way from England and found the best burgers and cakes. Service and atmosphere 🤩

Drove from Digby to have breakfast there and the waitress said we had to order lunch - it was 11:50 am. Very unfriendly and not accommodating at all even though they apparently serve breakfast until noon. While sitting there she brought breakfast to another table. Maybe the food is good (don’t know as we didn’t stay) but the waitress was very rude. I like to support good service, not just good food.

Nice diner in Bear River NS.
They have a good breakfast and lunch menu. Beware they don't serve breakfast after 11am and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesday.
I tried the Eggs Benedict with bacon, it was very good, the hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The home fries are very crispy and fresh.

Unless you are a local, 10/10 do NOT recommend. Wait time for our drinks/utensils alone was absurd. Local walks in 30 minutes after we got there and received his food before we even got our drinks and utensils. He was finished and gone before we ever saw our food. Staff was rude and unfriendly, literally laughed at us when asked if one ingredient could be excluded. Once we received our food, waitress checked in with us once but didn’t bother to wait for a response before she ran off to the tables outside. We asked for a glass of water at the time and she just kept walking. The food was good, but overall experience was absolutely horrible.

Wow! The best burger I’ve had in Canada so far. Even with being well done the Cowboy burger was tender and juicy. The staff is very friendly and customer service oriented. 5 stars +++

Parking: On street parking nearby. Cute little village to explore.
