We usually love this place but tonight we placed an order over the phone for pad Thai and drove in from Halifax about 20+ minutes with traffic. When we arrived we were told they checked and didn’t have all the ingredients to make pad Thai. No one had called us on the entire drive to let us know, it was very poor service and we won’t be returning.

Super nice staff, cool vibes, amazing food
I've been a regular at this restaurant for a while and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, tonight's experience was disappointing. I found what appeared to be a piece of metal in my crunch salad, which I immediately returned to the kitchen.
While I understand Saturday evenings are busy, food safety should always be the priority. The staff handled the situation appropriately when I brought it to their attention, but this kind of issue shouldn't happen in the first place.
I hope this was an isolated incident, as I've had many positive experiences here before. I'd like to see more attention paid to kitchen procedures and food preparation to ensure this doesn't happen to other customers. Despite tonight's issue, I'm willing to give them another chance because of my previous good experiences, but they need to be more careful with food safety protocols.
Host/waiter is perfect. Pad Thai was very very good and lots of chicken. Great little place nice decor and great natural lighting. Great price for the lunch specials and very good.
