“It is a consistent and genuine surprise that this place isn't PACKED 24/7. Consistently been my favorite restaurant in NS. Service is amazing, food is always served quickly and the quality is so incredibly consistent it makes me wonder how other restaurants manage to mess up so often. Even when the power was out in the bedford area, they still offered to cook and the quality was amazing. This is one of them ones. (Only downside is the Ramen, I'd go to Buta Ramen instead that's a few minutes away)”

“We decided to try the new location in Halifax to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the Red Pepper Puree served with fresh warm pita bread followed by a Turkish salad, then Seafood Kebab with rice. They accommodated no onions in the salad. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. We received a complimentary dessert to share with Turkish tea, a light airy Strawberry & White Chocolate Cake. A totally unexpected end to a perfect meal. The owner gave us excellent friendly service throughout. We’ll be back.”

“They don't have much in the way of food but the dill pickle popcorn slaps. I have heard you can order food in. There was a very refreshing beer with mango and dragon fruit that is great for the summer.
We went for trivia night. I liked how they displayed the questions and options on the screen.
The atmosphere is very nice and the art in one of the bathrooms gave me a good chuckle.”

There are also only a couple of tables and not many that seat more then 2.”

“I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted at the Mellow Mug last Friday night. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be a very welcoming space, from the decor to the seating. I think I was lucky to be attending an event after hours, when I believe their stock in baked goods to be low. As it was, I had difficulty narrowing my choice down past 3 items. I can just imagine the increased difficulty it would have been first thing in the morning with a full complement of goodies. The very friendly staff helped me to narrow my choice to one and if the cookie I ate was an example of the high quality of their baked goods, then I am grateful that I live half an hour away and not around the corner. The selection of drinks offered was also amazing and I look forward to visiting again during their regular hours.”

“I recently tried the Chhole Bhatoore and Aaloo Partha from Indian Foods Tiffin Service Dilli chaat in Halifax. Both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Chhole Bhatoore was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The Aaloo Partha was crispy and flavorful. The homemade Gulabjamoon was the perfect finishing touch. It was sweet and light. I highly recommend this delightful Indian dish from Indian Foods Tiffin Service dilli chaat in halifax. The service was excellent and the food was amazing”

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.”

It was extremely busy when we got there, we were seated at the last available table, got our food quickly, I ordered a ocean pearl cocktail, delicious blueberry “girly drink,” the table next to us was audibly giving the servers a hard time, and they (the servers) still all showed perfect customer service skills. Will be coming back!! If I wasn’t broke I would have tipped 100%”

“Had a delicious meal tonight at the Larry Uteck location with my family. Portions were very large and great taste. But what made our night is the incredible server we had who was both witty, charming, funny while also very professional. He made my parents and grandmother all smile and laugh which was really appreciated. It is excellent service and quality staff which make a resteraunt not just the food and clearly Morris East knows this.”

“I love the Coffee Pro! <3 They have the absolute best selection of K-cups I've seen. I recently switched to decaf pods and they carry a wide selection of flavoured coffee which I love. So many goodies in store from syrups to candles to other amazing local gifts. Must stop in Bedford. :)”

We've been here for breakfast as well as burgers and the food and service is always great. It's a great spot if you are looking for a quieter, more comfortable fast food place.”

“Truly a superior product compared to the old standard at KFC. The only piece of chicken I find a bit greasy is the thigh. Otherwise, it's juicy without being greasy, and the tators are far better than KFC's horrible fries. The gravy has improved over the years, but KFC still holds the title for best gravy.

The downside is the cost. You have to look for deals like the Mary Monday or the Batters Box, the latter only offered during baseball season.

But if you can afford it, a tasty treat without the quesy after taste if the competition.”

Sandwich (aside from likely being the messiest I've ever eaten) was one of the best! Crispy, flavorful and delicious (not too spicy - could handle more!) Fries were great as well.”
