“I recently tried the Chhole Bhatoore and Aaloo Partha from Indian Foods Tiffin Service Dilli chaat in Halifax. Both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Chhole Bhatoore was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The Aaloo Partha was crispy and flavorful. The homemade Gulabjamoon was the perfect finishing touch. It was sweet and light. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and kaju paneer masala.
When I tell you I felt like I was being romantically caressed by the paneer masala it was like a mother’s kiss during sunset. The paneer was SOOOO soft the taste was amazing and so majestically textured. Genuinely felt tears in my eyes it was so beautiful i will yearn for this whenever I don’t have it.

“Food was excellent. Dishes come at a medium spice level, but they happily adjust—adding a bit of extra cream to the butter chicken made the heat perfect for me. We ordered the butter chicken, palak aloo, chana masala, and raita. The pakora was honestly the best we’ve had in years. Staff were warm and attentive, portions are generous (naan is easily enough for two), and the atmosphere is very casual.“

“BEST INDIAN FOOD IN HALIFAX…

We are from Ontario and tried many restaurants but didnt like much of Indian food, until we tried Mittal spices food and became a fan.

We didnt go anywhere else after that. Rajma Chawal, Daal chawal…everything was very YUMMY and had the flavour as if your Mom has made it.

I've been eating here for years, at the Seaport Market, catering meals from them for family and colleagues, and eating the frozen dinners that I can buy from Noggin's in town. This food really puts time and care into flavours and healthiness. Excellent chutneys, outstanding sauces. I recommend when you stop by, just ask Jaskirat or Shelly what they recommend today and eat whatever they suggest - you'll never be disappointed! Of late I've been loving the vegan mixed vegetable curry - so flavourful!“
