“BEST INDIAN FOOD IN HALIFAX…

We are from Ontario and tried many restaurants but didnt like much of Indian food, until we tried Mittal spices food and became a fan.

We didnt go anywhere else after that. Rajma Chawal, Daal chawal…everything was very YUMMY and had the flavour as if your Mom has made it.

The food, the atmosphere and the service were top rate. Here for a birthday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed every morsel and they surprised us with a sweet at the end of our meal.

“This is the best Indian food I have had in Halifax. I had the butter chicken and it was spicy and so packed with flavour (seriously the best), and the chana masala that was divine. I will be ordering again ans again to try many different dishes.“

“I am a monthly eater at this restaurant.
Food is amazing and considering the price - the quantity is good. Try it's shrimp curry. They say the chicken is halal but when I tried to ask them the certificate to authenticate it, they said they don't have the certificate. Even I asked the owner (the one with the specs) - he is a very nice guy, so my wife and I avoid the chicken items. The ambience is very noisy especially these south Asian people and Punjabi people bring their whole village to restaurant and they eat less and talk, laugh loud screwing the decency and calmness of the restaurant. BIG NO TO Canadian crowd as they prefer the candle light dinner with nice cozy ambience. I know.

But overall good food and price.

“I recently tried the Chhole Bhatoore and Aaloo Partha from Indian Foods Tiffin Service Dilli chaat in Halifax. Both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Chhole Bhatoore was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The Aaloo Partha was crispy and flavorful. The homemade Gulabjamoon was the perfect finishing touch. It was sweet and light. I highly recommend this delightful Indian dish from Indian Foods Tiffin Service dilli chaat in halifax. The service was excellent and the food was amazing“

“Best Restaurant in town !!!!! We had our Team dinner and booked the hall and food with Bombay Bistro, they really took care of everything. The Ambience was very beautiful. The food was Hot and very fresh. The food was very authentic and we loved the taste very much. The service was excellent. The desserts were made fresh and brought straight out of kitchen. “Delish Indian dishes! Was truly a tastebuds sensation. Beef vindaloo ? chicken Tikka masala was saucy and melted in your mouth. Naan was crispy and delish. The service was on point. Our server was readily available and made sure we had a great experience. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great “

“I recently dined at famous curry Garden and enjoyed a delightful experience. The new Indo Chinese additions were a hit, with dishes like Bombay BHEL and Manchurian Fried Rice impressing us with their flavorful fusion. The Papdi aloo Chat retained its amazing taste, although the chutney had a new twist. The only disappointment was the Bombay Style Pav Bhaji, which fell a bit flat in comparison. The service was excellent, and despite a minor miss, famous Curry Garden remains a place to explore inventive flavors.“

“I want to say, first of all, this business has THE best customer service I have ever experienced with a food establishment! They are INCREDIBLY kind people that work here. I had never had butter chicken before so I had mentioned that my spouse would be purchasing it and I would just try some from him. They right away were quick to offer me a sample on the house of it to try and see if I liked it before I ordered. AMAZING! Incredibly kind and they fit in so well into the community!

As for the food, we did have a bit of a mixed review. The butter chicken, naans, and chicken wings all tasted AMAZING and incredibly fresh! My spouse and I will be back for those. However, we also had the pizza too, and we found ourselves being a bit disappointed (probably because everything else was SO INCREDIBLY GOOD). It's clear that they excel in Indian food (especially their chicken, this is the STAR of the menu!), so we will be back for that, but will probably skip the pizza next time (which is a shame being such a large part of their business and in their name). My spouse and I enjoy that they are local and have been welcomed to the community. It feels great supporting a small business as well, especially when they are such kind people!“
