“Yesterday we had the privilege of eating at The Narrows Halofax, Nova Scotia's #1 Public House and number #12 in Canada. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and personable host made us feel like we were home! All of the waitresses were incredible and ours went over and above to make us happy and we truly had the best time. “Drove up from New Brunswick a couple weeks ago and a friend insisted we try The Ostrich Club for dinner, and honestly I'm so glad we listened. The duck confit was perfectly cooked, rich and tender in a way that had us scraping the plate clean. Our server was genuinely warm and knowledgeable about the menu without being pushy, which made the whole evening feel really relaxed. If I'm ever back in Halifax this is the first place I'm booking a table.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. Prospect needed this so much - thank you, and good luck with your continued success! 🎉♥️”

“I hired Tareks for catering on this week and OH MY GOODNESS! Fantastic as always; Incredibly fresh, flavourful and so easy! I told him how many people and he gave suggestions and was the least stressful catering order I have ever placed. It arrived hot and fresh and perfectly on time. So much food we all had a second plate and still had leftovers at the end. Highly recommend Tareks for any time lunches, dinners or catering. Has to be one of the best in the city, not one complaint from my group of 15 people! He even called afterwards to check in that everything was received - absolutely amazing service! Hasn’t changed over the years the quality never diminished just always a huge hit, everytime. Thank you Tareks, top notch as always - much love from Lisa at the Abbie. ❤️”

“We decided to try the new location in Halifax to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the Red Pepper Puree served with fresh warm pita bread followed by a Turkish salad, then Seafood Kebab with rice. They accommodated no onions in the salad. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. We received a complimentary dessert to share with Turkish tea, a light airy Strawberry & White Chocolate Cake. A totally unexpected end to a perfect meal. The owner gave us excellent friendly service throughout. We’ll be back.”

“As someone who travels for work and has celiac disease I am always on the lookout for a new spot with lots of different options that are gluten free. I was absolutely tickled to find easy street diner in Halifax today while down in Nova Scotia for work. they had the most extensive gluten free menu I've ever seen. They had delicious gluten free onion rings, crispy, light, just the right amount of seasoning. they were divine. They also even had things like chicken and waffles that were gluten free!! 😲😲😲 needless to say anytime I'm working in Halifax again, I will be trying more delicious food in this cute, trendy, a la 60s Jetsons-cartoon-style diner!”
