Just fabulous! Cozy and delicious. All positive.
Drove up from New Brunswick a couple weeks ago and a friend insisted we try The Ostrich Club for dinner, and honestly I'm so glad we listened. The duck confit was perfectly cooked, rich and tender in a way that had us scraping the plate clean. Our server was genuinely warm and knowledgeable about the menu without being pushy, which made the whole evening feel really relaxed. If I'm ever back in Halifax this is the first place I'm booking a table.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Ostrich Club. Menu is shareable that was well portioned and paired well with their wine menu. Our beef tartare was delectable. Their char chicken was a hit as well with an upscale take on BBQ. Salad looked underwhelming but proved itself otherwise.
Service was professional and detailed in describing our dishes. I feel they could have used one more person on the floor to bring more attentiveness to all the tables as it was quite busy.

Although the dessert options are limited and not quite up to the same high standards, the overall experience remains excellent. Service is consistently attentive, with courses timed perfectly, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. The decor creates a lively buzz, and the team works seamlessly together to provide an excellent dining experience. Visitors have praised the expert cocktails prepared by Lindsay and the tasting menu of 10+ dishes crafted by the chef, with each dish elegantly prepared and full of unique flavors. The owner and staff make the environment friendly and engaging, making The Ostrich Club a must-visit spot in Halifax.
