Incredible food. The best bites we had on our weeklong tour of some of Halifax’s most highly rated establishments (including restaurants). The sauce, cook, and balance on the meals were perfect. The drinks are well constructed and novel. The bar tenders are friendly and creative with new drinks in the works.
An absolutely fabulous experience and a massive highlight of our East Coast trip. Every plate showcased incredible attention to detail. We had the refreshing raw scallop, the perfectly seasoned ahi tuna tartare with crisp shoestring fries, and an amazingly creative crab and carrots dish. We had an amazing dinner experience at Bar Kismet. It was a very loud inside but the food and service were excellent. All the plates were delicious and creative, incorporating a slight twist on what might have otherwise been more standard fare (but still yummy).
My favourites were the shrimp and frisee salad and the burnt sugar custard!
