Consistantly good here. Combo comes with an egg roll as well. I always order an extra so I get two meals. My son however, usually finishes his😆.
Chicken fried rice, egg roll, beef and broccoli, chicken balls, the combo is under 17$

Thanks to the entire Canteen family - and I say FAMILY purposefully as you feel the family atmosphere as soon as you arrive - for hosting our team for dinner last week. We booked out the whole restaurant and they did just what we hoped for: Maritime hospitality, wonderful, genuine service and knock-your-socks off food. The team from across Canada went bananas over the Crobster sandwich. The special welcome from the owners was a lovely touch. The guests raved all the way back across the harbour on the ferry about the wonderful meal from start to finish. It’s a lovely space that is not pretentious and puts an emphasis on fantastic food and exemplary service, with a genuine smile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Having the chef come out with the waiter to explain what was in each dish / course was also fun. They took extra care because of allergies too! Then I had the chicken fajitas which were huge and very fresh tasting. Emily talked me into trying the Churro bites for dessert. They are stellar all around pleased with my experience. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. Prospect needed this so much - thank you, and good luck with your continued success! 🎉♥️”

“Very quick turn around on a take out order. We didn’t eat it until we got to our AirBNB in Peggy’s Cove and it was still some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
