Consistantly good here. Combo comes with an egg roll as well. I always order an extra so I get two meals. My son however, usually finishes his😆.
Chicken fried rice, egg roll, beef and broccoli, chicken balls, the combo is under 17$

Thanks to the entire Canteen family - and I say FAMILY purposefully as you feel the family atmosphere as soon as you arrive - for hosting our team for dinner last week. We booked out the whole restaurant and they did just what we hoped for: Maritime hospitality, wonderful, genuine service and knock-your-socks off food. The team from across Canada went bananas over the Crobster sandwich. The special welcome from the owners was a lovely touch. The guests raved all the way back across the harbour on the ferry about the wonderful meal from start to finish. It’s a lovely space that is not pretentious and puts an emphasis on fantastic food and exemplary service, with a genuine smile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Well worth a trip across the bridge! I rarely go to Dartmouth, but had an appointment this aft. Walking back to my car, I noticed this cute spot, Portland Street Creperie and decided to check it out. So glad I did! I’ll definitely be back. The owner and his staff member of many years greeted me with a warm welcome and good suggestions. It was a bonus to discover Neil shares a love of Kraftwerk! I’m so jealous that he will be seeing them for the third time 🤦‍♀️. Oh, and the crepes - fabulous! Definitely recommended!”

Having the chef come out with the waiter to explain what was in each dish / course was also fun. They took extra care because of allergies too! “Was there for a late lunch. Very spacious, clean and great atmosphere. Our server Emily was very friendly and enthusiastic. Ordered taquitos (excellent flavour and lots of filling. Then I had the chicken fajitas which were huge and very fresh tasting. Emily talked me into trying the Churro bites for dessert. They are stellar all around pleased with my experience. “It is a consistent and genuine surprise that this place isn't PACKED 24/7. Consistently been my favorite restaurant in NS. Service is amazing, food is always served quickly and the quality is so incredibly consistent it makes me wonder how other restaurants manage to mess up so often. Even when the power was out in the bedford area, they still offered to cook and the quality was amazing. This is one of them ones. (Only downside is the Ramen, I'd go to Buta Ramen instead that's a few minutes away)”
