I confess I came for the Brotzeit and Spätzle. The ambience of the restaurant reminded us of a cozy and intimate diner in the Alps. The staff and the owner were kind and attentive. The foraged plants were full of flavours and elevated the dishes. The cocktails were delicious. The main courses were hearty (just as I missed), artistic, thoughtful, local and sustainable. The dessert was interesting and balanced. Cannot wait to return to try more items!
What an absolutely sensational experience.I used to be quite pessimistic (and juvenile) regarding my perspective of being served small dishes at a much larger cost. Oxalis has shown me the light. I can say with utter confidence now “I get it.”I also struggle with upscale environments as I find I stand out and do not belong. This place did not make me feel that way in the slightest.
