Old school diner. He's behind the stove, she's running the dining room. Worn banquettes, photos and kitsch adorns the wall. feels very 2000s diner owned by a random dude who is very nice but won’t interrupt you a bunch to ask if it’s all good (which is great in my opinion!). super reasonably priced and good food, not anything gourmet but just classic timeless stuff. can’t ever go wrong with a cheeseburger, milkshake, and friesKid-friendliness: Staff are so friendly with kids! Johnny's snack bar, probably as old as the hills and yet I've never been. Luckily just the other day I happened to be in the neighborhood so I stopped in for lunch. Great patina! Only booths and stools at the counter, I love it.
