“As someone who travels for work and has celiac disease I am always on the lookout for a new spot with lots of different options that are gluten free. I was absolutely tickled to find easy street diner in Halifax today while down in Nova Scotia for work. they had the most extensive gluten free menu I've ever seen. They had delicious gluten free onion rings, crispy, light, just the right amount of seasoning. they were divine. They also even had things like chicken and waffles that were gluten free!! 😲😲😲 needless to say anytime I'm working in Halifax again, I will be trying more delicious food in this cute, trendy, a la 60s Jetsons-cartoon-style diner!“

“Best restaurant meal I have had l in a long time . I had Roy's 50/50 beef and chicken plate that was so tasty and more than I could eat. The service was good and server friendly (only her 3rd day on job). The restaurant was clean and bright with open kitchen. Roy visited with some patrons. I/we'll be back again and again....“

“We stopped by Johnny's Snack Bar on a Saturday afternoon while walking along the waterfront and were pleasantly surprised by how good the fish cakes were. The staff were friendly and quick even though the place was busy with tourists, and they still took a minute to recommend the donair to my husband. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, which we appreciated after years of overpriced tourist traps. We'll definitely make a point of stopping in again next time we're in Halifax.“
