“Grabbed dinner with a few friends at Suda Table last Friday evening and honestly it exceeded every expectation we had. The vibe inside was warm and relaxed, exactly the kind of spot where you lose track of time without meaning to. We ordered the Thai green curry and it was genuinely one of the best versions I've had in Halifax, deeply fragrant with just the right amount of heat. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and made some great recommendations when we were on the fence about what to order.“

Coffee was great and the cape breton scone that I had was delicious! staff are very friendly, and when they found out it was our first visit there, they made it a point to mention all of the great things about the Cafe, including some of the upcoming events. “Going in I did not realize they were plant based, I got a latte with oatmilk (Ive had some really bad oat milk lattes before so I wasnt expecting much). If I didnt like it I was just going to give it to my brother who is vegetarian so I knew he'd like it.
The oatmilk latte was the best I've ever gotten. If I could get my latte here everyday I would switch over to oatmilk permanently! Give it a go!“

“I'm an ex barista, so i can be a bit of a coffee snob. But have to say, i am super impressed! Not only were drinks coming out quite fast but man thats a good cup of coffee!! Iced caramel latte was fantastic and not too sweet. Also appreciated how clean the entire space was. Pretty lighting. Friendly staff. Really yummy baked goods.

“We had the pleasure of eating at Bird’s Nest today, Chicken Club Sandwiches (and we have our usual cup of coffee everyday there too) The food is outstanding, based on fresh seasonal ingredients clearly put together by a chef that has a true passion for food! The service was fantastic as always, and their staff is so friendly, and they know our usual orders by now. Really recommend this Café to anyone - family, couples and business lunches, Bird’s Nest Cafe make everyone feel a part of them. Thank you Beatrix (Bonni) and Morne’ Botha“

“I just arrived in Halifax P.S my first time here and I'm liking it!
The place has a Spanish atmosphere and music, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. There are books to read, a comfy couch to sit on with friends! It's not as expensive as I thought, I bought hot chocolate and it cost me $2.25!
I would recommend this place for anyone who's visiting Halifax“
“Such a cute space, and really delicious BLTC sandwich - they got all the little details right (crispy bacon, crisp lettuce, delicious sesame bagel, melted cheese, slight tartness from the tomato). Also really enjoyed the funfetti iced latte, wasn’t too sweet.“

“I discovered this gem of a coffee shop while staying in Halifax over the weekend. Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!). The cafe was very spacious and I LOVED how much space there was in between tables so you can relax and enjoy your coffee in peace. 10/10! We will be back.“

“One of the best hidden gems in Halifax. They pour espresso stronger than most coffee shops in the city and have extremely friendly baristas. Also great supply of tasty protein bars, cold coffee drinks and electrolytes. Worth the short side street walk off Agricola.“

“Tony is the nicest man you'd ever meet. As someone who has worked in this mall for a decade, I know that I will always get a warm experience. My favorite item is their breakfast pita, which has scrambled egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and can add cheese. It's perfect for an easy breakfast that will hold you over til lunch. Sometimes I grab an afternoon snack here, which may be a Nanaimo bar, peanut butter cookie, etc. I haven't tried their pizza slices yet, but heard they are decent! Please support this lovely family if you can. (FYI I am not family or friends, trying to push reviews).“
