BEST MATCHA IN THE CITY!

The strawberry matcha oat slush has changed my life in ways I cannot put into words for this review. Pastries, baked goods and food is always unique and very well done. Dumplings are a special treat if they have not sold out.

I cannot recommend this cafe enough, I send everyone here whenever anyone asks about a cafe recommendation. I tell people about the matcha slush like I am promoting religion. I am debating starting knocking door to door to spread the word of the Suda Table matcha oat slush.

“wonderful, relaxing space. went on a sunday. Coffee was great and the cape breton scone that I had was delicious! staff are very friendly, and when they found out it was our first visit there, they made it a point to mention all of the great things about the Cafe, including some of the upcoming events. I will most definitely be back“

“Extremely busy when we stopped in on a random Thursday morning. A little loud and a little cramped. Felt like we were having coffee with the people at the next table. Staff was great and the drinks were lovely. Ambience was a little modern and sterile for my tastes, but that wouldn't stop me from stopping in again.“

We split a plate of churros with the house chocolate sauce and honestly I'm still thinking about it. The barista chatted with us about the espresso blend they use, which was a nice touch and didn't feel rushed at all. Already planning to go back this weekend since parking right out front made the whole thing easy.“

“Stopped by for a coffee last Friday evening and the place was as good as ever, honestly one of the few spots in Dartmouth where I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for my order. Got the mocha and a slice of their carrot cake, and the cake was so fresh it tasted like it came out of the oven an hour before. The staff behind the counter recognized me from previous visits and even remembered my usual order, which is a nice touch after all these years. It gets a bit busy around six but there's a small patio out back that's perfect for unwinding after work.“

“Gateway Cafe is inside the Pier 21 Cruise Terminal and is a great place to get an iced coffee and an authentic Canadian butter tart. Coffee drinks ate good and the butter tarts didn’t disappoint!

It’s quiet and they have plenty of seating. Service is fast and friendly. It’s a frat place to relax after a day long tour of the area.“

“We had the pleasure to discover Lara Cafe during our vacation in Halifax with our 3 children. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable.
