We were seated over by the bar and the booth style seat did slide when I tried to shimmy over. We had a good laugh.You do get a starter bread, I didn't take a picture.We did try Risotto Croquettes to start-San Marzano tomato, Prosciutto di San Daniele, fresh Mozzarella center, tomato, basil pesto sauce. These were really good. Definitely worth a try.My sister got the Mercato Burger -Housemade Beef tenderloin burger, guanciale,seared provolone, crispy onions, tomato marmellata, garlic aioli, sesame seed brioche bun, hand-cut fries. She really like it. It was a good juicy burger.I went with the Ligurian Focaccia - free range chicken, crispy pancetta, avocado, arugula, chili aioli, mixed greens on housemadefocaccia with fries. This was really good. The bread was even warm which I wasn't expecting and it was so fresh. I would order this again for sure.Service, food and atmosphere all really good here!

I really wanted to give this restaurant a 5 because I absolutely love their food. It is worth every penny. This is the restaurant I choose for my birthday every year and besides the food being amazing, the staff are so friendly and professional and add to the experience. It is also the restaurant I recommend when anyone asks where they should eat. I seriously have never had a bad experience here and although my preference was their Spring Garden location, the Bedford location is not bad. My only issue is the accessibility of the restaurant and I do realize their are limitations because it is in a leased building. The restaurant is on the second level of the mall, and although there is an elevator you can access, the when you enter the main entrance you are immediately faced with a steep set of stairs. The washrooms are not accessible and the floor in the main part of the restaurant is tile…the chairs are fairly lightweight and the floor + chair is quite slippy, even the tables move easily. Not a big concern but for someone with mobility issues it can be a bit of a challenge to navigate. Having said all of that that it is still worth the visit. Delicious!

Our dining experience was excellent and our servers were both very pleasant and professional. The only negative issue was a water leak on the floor area from the heavy rain and snow melt on the balcony - something the restaurant could do little about except to warm diners not to slip and fall. Our favourite restaurant for years now.
