Amazing goat cheese pizza! Love it!! Definitely going to get it again.
Not as impressed at the peanut butter dessert. The chocolate cake part was bland and tasted like coconut! But it was good, just not what I expected. Our waitress did great with the ten of us!! A bit pricey but the pizza value was appropriate.

Our first visit. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything was amazing. Our server was so friendly and accommodating of my dietary needs. The food was amazing from the apps to the beer to the meal and dessert. All delicious. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Ordered four pan fried haddock for take out last night.Excited to be with my sister and her husband to have a special meal.
As soon as we opened them the smell was very strong and the color gray. These meals were not fresh. We called the restaurant and got no satisfaction whatsoever. Very disappointing.
We won’t be back

My wife and I celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary at Resto and we had an amazing meal with wonderful service. We were treated like royalty. Bravo!

What a find! The decor is upscale with a fireplace in the back (though I still preferred the front booths). The staff is very personable without being intrusive. And the food is WAY above par -- especially for gluten free options! Many items are already GF and most others have gf options. BEST seafood chowder in all of NS (and I have tried every GF chowder out there). Also, I want to say how reasonably priced everything is here. Refreshing, considering how overpriced most restaurants are today.

Love their food, have tried many of things on the menu, have never had a bad experience. Servers are amazing. Small, local and family owned. Great for a date or getting together with friends. I would say it is casual fine dining. One of my fav restaurants in the city, you will not be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout tonight. He ordered pasta for supper, Alfredo sauce was very watery and bland, I ordered a salad with chicken, the chicken was freezing cold and dry. The customer service from the owners has been consistently bad when sitting in on other occasions. Wouldn’t recommend..

I deeply regret ever working at this establishment. My experience as an employee was nothing short of appalling. The owner fired me through Facebook without warning and immediately blocked me, refusing to offer any constructive feedback when I asked how I could improve. The owner frequently berates staff, including me, in front of customers, creating a hostile toxic and unprofessional work environment.

That said, some of the staff here are truly exceptional—perfect and model humans who go above and beyond in their roles. This review in no way reflects on them or their character. My only wish is that they never have to be disregarded without warning or discussion as I was.

From what I observed, employees who aren’t family or close acquaintances of the owner are often treated poorly. Many endure this mistreatment out of fear and intimidation. The manager offers no support, avoids addressing issues, and fails to stand up for employees—behaving more like a bystander than a leader.

As a former regular guest who brought friends, family, and even referred clients of my own business to this venue, I am deeply disappointed.

If you’re considering dining here, think twice. A business that treats its employees poorly often reflects that same lack of care in its overall operations. Bad reviews travel fast for a reason.
