Growing up on Cape sable Island, I must say this spot ranks up in the top of fish n chip restaurants! Fresh af fish… perfectly battered with a side of fries n slaw ( I had clams too, also delish) My lunch date who has to smother fish in tartar sauce in order to eat it, became a fish lover and barely touched the sauce! Shout out to the lady who looked after us, great sense of humour, and a great banter!

Stopped in yesterday, I got the combo of scallops and claims. Absolutely delicious. Kudos to the waitress, 17 and handled how crazy busy it was like a pro. Diffinetly will be back.

As a person with an ethnic background- this place made me feel very uncomfortable and will NOT be back. They didn’t acknowledge me when I came in.. to the point I just gave up and left… and this isn’t the first time this happened. If you go read the 1 star reviews on google, the people had the same experience as I did.

RACIST owners…….their actions to customers of color has reach all the way to Windsor, Ontario where many from the Halifax, NS now live! Do better people, racism doesn’t belong in CANADA! #TEAMCANADA

Gerri and I loved it! The food and the service were both great! I have to use a walker to get around these days but they have an entry ramp and their small eating area is walker/wheelchair friendly.

My husband and I had takeout today. I ordered the gluten free fish. It was the best gluten free fish batter I've ever had. Well done!!

Today was the first time my fiancé and I had lunch there. The fish was amazing and so fresh. It’s not every day you get home made fries. Most places give you bagged frozen fries. It’s like a home style fish and chip restaurant but placed in Bedford. Honestly the best I have had since I left Newfoundland 20 years ago. The hours are perfect. Open before lunch and dinner. I work in the area and the hours open are perfect.

First time I ever had a bad experience. The food was soooo greasy that it was sopping threw the bag. But the staff are super friendly.

We ordered for pick up through UberEats. We had to wait an extra 15 minutes despite the pick up timenprovided through the app. When we got home we realized both meals were incorrect. Neither came with newfie fries as ordered. The fries that did come with the meals were bland and a little undercooked. Quite a disappointing meal.
