First of all, I wish this business no ill will—I have nothing against them.
It was our first time trying this pizza. Straightforward pepperoni & garlic fingers (it’s our standard when trying a new pizza joint).
The positives: doesn’t seem like bagged cheese—seemed “freshly grated”. The pepperoni is local; they use Chris Brothers which checks the box for my preference for keeping it as Nova Scotia as possible. The thin crust had a great crunchy texture that so many miss the mark on.
Sadly, those are where the positives end. We also had the regular crust for half our order. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great…it was…odd. Sort of dense & chewy; as if it had been assembled in the pan from a mix then frozen until ready to use. The sauce, the little amount there was, was weird. While I love they’re using Chris brothers pepperoni, I’m not sure they’re using the best of the offerings. It overwhelms everything else, the taste reminiscent of Pictou style pizza (honestly, we initially thought that’s what was sent to us until I saw the meager sauce schmear wasn’t brown or tangy.
It was just a big let down and didn’t taste the way a simple pepperoni or garlic fingers should. It didn’t entice us to want to try anything else from your restaurant. Especially with the high prices (which we don’t mind paying for great quality and taste).
Sorry! We wish your business the best, but it just wasn’t for us.

We just pick up our pizza but everybody is lovely when we go in, so that’s a great atmosphere! The pizza is always hot and and tastes great! Lots of toppings and the sauce is fabulous!

The ingredients are fresh. The sausage is nothing like the cheap kind. It has a subtle smoky note and a richer, meatier flavor than most pizzas. Overall it’s tastier, though overpriced, likely due to the prime location and high rent.

The place is wide open and super clean. There was a nice gentleman who was working with great costumer service. The pizza was delicious especially with the pepperoni they use!

Would not recommend this place to my dog let alone a human . Went in looking for a bite to eat after waiting at the counter for 10 minutes with no service while the guy behind the counter was rubbing his nose and scratching his ear and texting on his phone I decided to leave . I probably made the right choice because the pizza in the ready to go section looked like it been sitting there since last week .

I’ve just gotta say! Sam’s pizza is a must try! I couldn’t be happier with my large pepperoni pizza! Glad we stopped tonight to try it for the first time! We will be back!
