Very good chicken. Had the ban ban combo. The original was good and the sweet and spicy was… sweet and spicy. If you are eating on your own, a half order is sufficient, but the full will leave you with delish left overs for the next day.

I understand that New Year’s Eve is extremely busy, and I waited over 40 minutes without any complaint about the service attitude, which was polite as always. However, I was very disappointed to see that the kitchen consistently prioritized takeout orders while completely ignoring dine-in orders. I personally saw multiple takeout orders placed after I arrived being prepared and served quickly, while during my 40+ minute wait, I received nothing except two cups of warm water. In the end, I decided to leave.
I’ve been a regular customer for a long time—the food quality is genuinely great and the service has usually been good. That said, it is unacceptable to me that dine-in customers are pushed behind later takeout orders simply because they are delivery orders. If the delay had been due to orders placed before mine, I would have fully understood given the holiday. But watching later orders leave before mine was frustrating and unfair. Unfortunately, this experience makes me reconsider returning.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:25 pm, knowing that the closing time was 9:00 pm. However, we were told that food would take around 20 minutes to prepare, which would leave us with only about 10 minutes to eat. We were then advised to order takeout instead.
I find this quite unreasonable. We did not arrive at 8:50 pm, and there was still plenty of time before closing. It felt like the staff was unwilling to accommodate dine-in customers close to closing time rather than making an effort to serve us properly.
Very disappointing experience.

The best chicken in HRM! Keep coming back for more
Heard about this place from Curated magazine's 50 best eating spots in Nova Scotia, and what a delight it is. Situated in the old motel on Bedford Highway, right next door to the excellent Dhaba 2, it's a simple, comfortable space, with a surprisingly pretty patio outside, which looks down through the trees to the Basin. It specialises in fried chicken, as the name would suggest, with several interesting varieties, served either as a half or a whole bird. I went for the sweet and hot cilantro, mid-spice and it was a treat, as well as a challenge! I'd advise adding a bowl of plain rice as well, to soak up the tasty sauce. They also offer a small selection of Korean standards, which I'll have to try in due course. Mid week in September, they had around a dozen covers while I was there, enjoying the Indian summer. Service was excellent and swift. Not too pricey, this is a lovely little place that I'd thoroughly recommend.

Heard about Seoa’s through the Curated magazine, and have had it on my radar since. The food was soooo good!!!! And the lady who served us (which I believe owns//runs the restaurant) was so sweet !
