I had such an amazing time at this sushi spot!
Our server, a super friendly guy, made sure we were taken care of and was just so kind the whole time.
And the salmon? Honestly, the best l've ever had in my life-so fresh and full of flavor.
Every dish was made with care, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The place had a great vibe, too-cozy and authentic, plus the view was absolutely gorgeous. It made the whole experience even better. I'd totally recommend it to anyone who loves good sushi, great service! Definitely one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had!

I had an incredible experience at Sushinami Bedford! The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, with a fantastic variety of rolls to choose from. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. I especially loved the nami boat (picture attached)—it was simply outstanding! I can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend this gem to any sushi lover!

Ordered takeout on last Tuesday night, and meal was fantastic. The sashimi was fresh and flavorful, without any of the fishy smell you sometimes get elsewhere. The chef was very courteous and packed everything so well that it looked great when I got home. Even after the drive home, everything was perfectly intact. Service was friendly and attentive. If you enjoy sushi, I highly recommend trying this place!

I initially planned to go for a meal. When I arrived, a middle-aged woman, who appeared to be the manager, was conducting an interview in the lobby with a girl who had come to apply for a waitress position. Since they seemed busy, I followed the usual practice of waiting at the door to be seated by a server. About five minutes later, the interview ended, and this "manager" started loudly praising the interviewee's looks in Chinese to the other staff. At this moment, a man walked in and went straight to the front desk to pick up his takeout, so I followed in and greeted the manager with "excuse me." To my surprise, instead of asking, "how can I help you," she rudely responded with, "what do you want?" It was then I realized that she mistook me for another job applicant. Just because I am a woman and look Asian, she assumed that if I appeared at the door at noon, I couldn't possibly be a customer. All of this happened in the dining area, right in front of all the other customers. After realizing her mistake, she grabbed my hand and kept apologizing, saying her earlier neglect was because she was conducting an interview. Setting aside the fact that holding an interview during peak dining hours in a cramped and crowded restaurant is already disruptive to other diners, this was an act of serious discrimination. Such a crude and disgraceful mistake makes me wonder how she even got to this position, and I will never return to this restaurant again.

Whatever the one star people say. Shame on them, because it is all false and I can definitively say that they are just haters. The management team is excellent with proper behaviour that reflects the restaurants high standards in food and costumer services. It is inexcusable to write a false review about a restaurant and its various locations in such a slanderous manner. Though I have no connections to the restaurant itself, I thought it was time to write a meaningful review that reflects the countless amount of times I have sat down and enjoyed a nice meal there with my family and friends. I was truly heartbroken seeing others say such things that are untrue about this grand establishment and the others like it.

I was thoroughly impressed by the innovative rolls on the menu. I tried the "Mongo Dragon," which featured a delightful combination of shrimp fresh mango, and Mongo sauce. The sweetness of the mango balanced the shrimp beautifully, creating a harmonious flavor profile. Each roll was well-constructed, with ingredients that felt balanced and not overwhelming.

Well I took my wife to lunch at the Bedford location yesterday and I have to say it was terrible. We both love sushi but it was just awful. Had the soft shell crab it tasted like deep fried smoke had no meat in it at all. The kamikaze roll was just deep fired grease and was missing the fish that was stated on menu. Didn’t finish either one and the rock n roll was mediocre at best. Felt sick after I got home. Will not eat there again. Hey if you are looking for the best sushi in Halifax head to Sea Smoke instead. Oh and instead of taking a percentage off the bill the server gave us a $5 coupon, really keep it ??
