Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.

We walk there (30min walk from our place) on average once a week, just for the sushi! I would say it's the best sushi we have had in years, certainly the best in Halifax; fresh, generous and authentic!

Some of the best sushi in the HRM in my opinion. They have great tasting fresh sushi, and I've been eating there for years. 100% worth it whether you're stopping in for lunch or are with a few friends.
