This Szechuan restaurant is overall great! The food is delicious, authentic, and made with good ingredients. The portions are generous, and compared to other restaurants, the value for money is really high. The owner is very nice and considerate, always thinking about the customers. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I highly recommend it. Also, parking is convenient. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Halifax!

Szechuan restaurant has the best food around town in my opinion. The Szechuan dishes always taste great and twice cooked pork, a long with their house fried rice is just delicious. You can't get this quality in most Chinese restaurant. I would highly recommend it. Take out quality is great but obviously it gets less tasty the longer you let it sit. Asian cuisine is best served fresh!
Do yourself a favor and try some of their specialty szechuan dishes.

I ordered mixed vegetables in garlic sauce for takeaway. Disappointed in the lack of variety of veggies. Mostly soggy cabbage. Sauce was also bland.

Its a small cozy resturaunt but it has an amazing ambience and delicious food. Me and my husband went here for the first time. We definitely recommend their Boiled Beef. It was delicious and plenty in quantity for two of us.

edit: after coming here a dozen more times, I am having a hard time justifying the cost based on the size of the portions. For nearly $20 a plate, the sizes are just too small. It's unfortunate because the food is tasty, but they need bigger portion sizes to justify their prices.
Exceptional, we stopped in today after a friend recommended this spot to us - we were not disappointed! The food tasted exceptional, the spring rolls were huge and the food was bursting with flavour. The prices are higher than what we usually pay, but the portion size makes up for the cost. We will be back.
