Not only is the food delicious, the staff genuinely friendly, and the value so cozy on the wallet, but an employee, who I later found out was the owner, came outside to clean my car off! I wanted to warm the car up first, but this absolute Saint came outside with a brush and proceeded to clean the snow off my car and thanked us for stopping by.
Like, how could you not love a place that's embracing the old Nova Scotia spirit on that level?
Take the guesswork out of figuring where you want to dine out and just go here on your next (and I'd bet subsequent) night off from kitchen duty 🫶

I lived in Thailand for several years and today I came to this restaurant hoping to try tom ka soup, so if you want to try the original soup this is not the place ... the girl Waitress is not Thai but Indian, which is very strange for the theme of the restaurant because I came to a Thai and not Indian restaurant. Serving dishes to the table the waitress grabbed the plates with her fingers ...

Excellent food with beautiful presentation. Large enough portions to satisfy most everyone. The server was very helpful and friendly. Only issue is limited parking. Highly recommend and we will be back often!

Delicious, flat out delicious. The Hot and sour soup was so flavourful, one of the best I've had. The rest of the dishes the table ordered were equally excellent. Already looking forward to going back. Once the renovations are done, the views will match the exceptional atmosphere, food and service. The only issue would be the limited parking.

The best Thai food restaurant in Halifax hands down!!! This is my 3rd time visiting Thai Ivory Cuisine, I visited the Quinpool.rd location years ago and the location attached to the hotel on the Bedford Highway.
Yesterday I visited the new location on the Bedford Highway and it was cozy and very nicely decorated.
The owners were so kind and caring, just like you are family. The experience for just picking up a takeout order was amazing and it makes you smile.
We ordered several dishes to go, green curry with chicken, vegetable panang curry, mango stir fry,2 coconut soup, wonton soup, Thai soup, sticky rice with peanut sauce and 4 spring rolls.
The food was AMAZING, the coconut soup was just delicious, I could have had 4 of them the Thai soup and wonton soups were so delicious.
The green curry and panang curries were outstanding and made authentic, they are far superior to any Thai restaurants I visit back home in Ontario. The spring rolls were out of this world and so tasty and crispy.
I'll be back again to try some other delicious dishes and more of that amazing coconut soup!!
Definitely a must visit if you like Thai food, hands down top of the list for Thai restaurants for me.
P. S: Forgot to take pictures of the food we picked up, because it was just so delicious I didn't even think about it!! Next time I will take plenty of pictures.
Parking: Free parking, but not a lot of spaces, so it can be difficult when it's busy to find parking
Kid-friendliness: 100% kid friendly restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible parking spots that I could see, but it was at night when I visited.
Loved the food, great spot and an OK view of the water. Super friendly staff, really enjoyed this place

Very poor customer service. We went last night, store was totally not busy when we arrived. There was only 1 couple upstairs. We ordered the combo set for 4 and we ask if we can change the rice to fried rice and the server said yes u can change. And then when she served the food, she told us that “too much work for the cook” this is the last time you can change the rice. Not only that, it took more than 1 hr before the pad thai was served but the meat was still raw and pink in color. I even followed up two times, was told 2 minutes to wait but ended up waiting for 30 mins.
We were so dissapointed and never coming back!
