THE KON DOG Korean Hotdog and Bingsu

Excellent mango bingsu! We’ve been to South Korea and had the real thing. This is just as good! And the best we’ve had in Canada. Better than Snowy Village’s out west.

Crunchy, tasty, and lots of cheese. The bingsu was not too sweet and enough for two persons. There are not many tables but we went to dine in after 6pm so it was not crowded at all.

I visited the store today and made an order.

While waiting for our order, the kids asked for some ketchup to take with them. There were forks and paper plates for customers to use, so we grabbed a paper plate and put some of the ketchup that was placed literally on the counter where we pick up our order.

Later, the person who gave us our order told me, in a really impolite way, that we can't do that and customers are not allowed to use the condiments on the counter. He said we need to ask them to do it for us. I asked him where the sign saying that and how customers would know, as the condiments were placed right where customers can easily reach them.

Unfortunately, this experience left me unhappy with the service. We won't be returning to this place unless the employees learn how to provide proper customer service

I've been waiting to try this for so long. I loved the staff and the restaurant was so clean and inviting. I was so excited to try this but personally I found it to be not as great as I thought. There is too much breading and not enough filling inside the Kon dog. If they had options with just a little less breading and more meat or cheese, that would have made it all worth the trip. Hopefully they can adjust The recipe and I will be able to return to enjoy. Staff was 10 out of 10

Food in general is tasty (not a fan of the jalapeno hot dogs). Service is very slow and the storefront area is quite cramped and uncomfortable with very little seating, even less if you have more than 4 in your party. It’s a weird small space that can be noisy making it difficult to order and hear the staff as well. They would do well to move to a location better suited for their actual volume of customers.

We had a fantastic experience at Kon Dog on Bedford Highway! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual eat. The hot dogs were absolutely delicious, with a great variety of toppings to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend trying their specialty dogs like the Spicy Kon Dog – it was a flavor explosion! Took the family here, and it did not disappoint. The staff were super patient and friendly, like sooo friendly. Even though it's a busy little spot, everyone was having the best time. And obviously the food was ridiculously good.

Very nice little shop, clean and great esthetic. The dog were huge, way bigger then I was expecting. I'll definitely have to bring some summer guests here as a treat.
