Well we went there today Sunday june8/25 around 3 We waited a long time for our meal . While waiting they were banging a wall by the stools area spraying some kinda glue to try to fix something that kept falling off. The smell was terrible to have around food prep, making us feel sick. When the food arrived my husbands onion rings were soaked in grease and the bacon on our burgers wasn't cooked also the dip for the onion rings was old with a crusty top . So goodbye true north we will not be back . Totally unsatisfied customers 😒🙄🤢
Good selection and service.
We got the breakfast smash burger with home fries and breakfast quesadillas and I’ve gotta say. The burger is easily in my top 3 tastiest and most well balanced smash burger that’s ever graced my taste buds. The quesadillas were amazing and loaded with fresh ingredients. And the home fries oh my dear. They are to die for!!!!
All my young people you gotta check this place out. It’s incredible !
I've been going there for 10 years. Best Caesar Salad I've found in Halifax.
Ordered a fish and chips with gravy and without tarter sauce or coleslaw. 40 minutes later it arrived with the sauce and slaw, and without the gravy. The fries were barely warm upon arrival, and cool by the time the gravy arrived. Was in a party of 12, but I was among the first served. The piece of fish was long, but fairly thin.
Decent food, decent service and clean.
The chocolate milkshake was a hit.
Beautiful experience
Very cool place with old 50s-60s diner vibes with friendly staff and affordable meals.

A true 50’s diner experience . We enjoy supporting local businesses rather than a chain and today we happened to be in the Bedford area for brunch and decided to stop in . The moment I walked in I said this is a blast from the past and loved every moment of our experience . We were seated with no wait , our server Marshal was there checking in on us on a regular basis and our food came out quickly and hot . The deep fried pickles have my heart from this place , especially with their sweet honey dill mustard sauce to dip . Hubby had the corn beef hash on the menu and I had the special Texas skillet . We will definitely be back .

Our Breakfast was very good. I found the place a bit dark. Server didn’t like that we opened the blinds. Let some sun in :).

This is a bustling business. A testament to the good food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Enjoyed this restaurant with my sister. We had a bit of a wait but the food was worth it and gave us a chance to slow down and have some quality sister time. Food was absolutely delicious. Theres a photo booth now! Really wish the mini jukebox on the table were working. Regardless, love this retro restaurant.
