If you’re looking for a unique, small town, Gilmore girl / old home town feeling this is the spot!

I’ve been here 4 times in a years time. The first 2 times the food and the service was outstanding. It was my new favourite spot. I don’t eat out often, but when I do I love to love it. The last 2 times the service was just fine and the food was dry and not fresh. I was so disappointed because I loved their fresh hand cut fries. The last time I was there was Mothers Day and today my birthday, special days wanting to be treated with some delicious food; I was so disappointed with dry chicken and fries that seemed cooked a while before. And we waited a bit longer for that; she even apologized for the wait. You’d think it would be freshly cooked with the wait, but nope. I won’t be coming back. And their set tip is at 20% of the total after tax. I usually always tip, but this time I really didn’t want to. I was not deserved at all. But I didn’t even have to the choice to not give a tip paying with card, wow. I highly do not recommend on a special day. If you want to try it out, 50/50 chance it will be a fresh meal.

Food was okay but not worth the price point. Service was terrible. Asked for no mushrooms and she punched in extra mushrooms. By the time I got my food the rest of my table finished. When the bill came she just placed the machine down without saying anything and walked away on the phone. Didn’t even get a good “bye, thanks”. Will not go back.

The first time my friend and I were there was on Saturday afternoon. It was busy, but both waitresses were attentive and friendly. Love the tin ceilings. Excellent home cooked food, not the over processed things that some places serve.

I was shocked at the price. $20 for a hamburger. I wasn't informed that the price includes fries etc and you pay that amount where you want the extras or not!!

Exceeded expectations, we came for brunch. Best Caesar I've ever had...and I love caesars. We got the pancakes (strawberry rhubard were the special) and standard bacon and eggs. Food and portions were amazing. Great value. CANNOT recommend this place enough. Not sure why they have 4.7 stars. It should be 5! I'll be back to try more!
