It was lacking an overabundance of heat and the fries were really teeny. We got two burgers and while the taste of everything was really good, the slow service and bottom of the bag fries were disappointing.”

“We wanted a quick lunch that wasn't fast food! We has been out running errands all day and were starting to get hangry when we spotted the MAD sign. It smelled amazing as soon as we opened the door! Service was quick and friendly. My daughter and I each grabbed a chicken salad sandwich and a drink, some baked items and a Nanaimo Square. Everything was fresh, delicious and priced well. “We just ate here today for lunch while waiting for our trailer to be fixed at Shaw. The place was packed and the hostess definitely gets her 20,000 steps a day. She was very nice and the food was great. I had fish cakes with the house salad and loved it. I cleaned my plate. My partner had the ginger peanut pasta and said it was good too. He said "I'd eat there again" which is big from him lol. His only complaint was he hoped for crunchy peanuts on the pasta. The sauce was yummy. Thank you!”

“Wheatons Cider Press Cafe is a well established and beloved cafe in the Annapolis Valley. Located in Berwick, Nova Scotia, just off the highway and the perfect place to stop for travelers looking for a home cooked lunch and yummy baked goods. The food is really thoughtfully prepared, and the menu has a great selection of sandwhiches, breads, soups, pies, and salads. The curried carrot soup, the tuna melt, and the chicken pot pie are my favorite and usually the favorite of those I dine with. Thankfully, they remain on their evolving menu. Definitely leave room for dessert because they offer one of the most extensive dessert menus around. This is especially great if you just want coffee, tea, and a dessert. You will feel like you are in Grandma's kitchen! Our server was truly exceptional! He had his hands full with us and handled it so well. He was charming, friendly, well-mannered, thoughtful, funny, and did a great job serving us! I think my favorite part of dining here is the chance to purchase backed goods or a meal and take it home or shop in the exquisite retail shop just outside the cafe. The smells, the items... it's all very cozy and a great location to get together with friends and family. Loved it.Dietary restrictions: GF options available”

“Litterally best pizza in all of Nova Scotia. Haven't had a single other restaurant produce pizza this tasty!! Try it if u get the chance, been eating here for the past decade or so and the quality has only gotten better!!! Love the service and the employees are fantastic! “There is no drive in this location. The wait time is extremely long and the service is very slow and very disorganized . Like most Tim Hortons outlets are going down here Hill. Maybe they should close that Tim Hortons and open a Robinson doughnut. I think Tim Hortons thinks they have gotten too big to cater to the customers. Maybe it's time they had a reality check.Without the customers they would have nothing. Quick and friendly service without long wait times when you're a walk-in customer . Taking your time to get out of your car to go inside. That is my thoughts of Tim Hortons”

“Food is absolutely incredible! Atmosphere is amazing…except for the lack of heat! We decided to do take-out as our feet froze while we waited for our food. Not sure what it’s like in warmer weather, but definitely recommend takeout during winter. ? UPDATE: Read the response from the owner. He’s a miserable man…but the food is great.”

“By far my favourite Nova Scotia cider. Love the farmhouse style of some of the ciders, certainly not overwhelming, but more layered and complex than many other quality NS ciders. Worth trying it wherever available, I just order some online and the customer service is also top notch.”

“New owners! Inside is cleaner than the previous ownership however the outside drive throu area and along the back parking treeline area is a dump of litter! Please, please keep the area clean.And sweep the cigarette butts in the drive through please. People are disgusting I know however keeping it clean is super.McDonald's restaurant down the road is spotless!!!”
