“This was my first pizza from this place, I have not had a better donair pizza. I purchased it with extra meat and a cup of sauce on the side to dip my crust in.I will be going back to try something different on the menu.”

The person behind the counter was friendly and interested.The weird thing about this coffee shop is that it closes at 2.30pm. if you're looking for an afternoon coffee fix you may have to skip across the street to tim Hortons.There is a good selection of cookies (I had chocolate chip-fair) and pastries.Recommend, but get there before closing!”

“Enjoyed the food and service. There are a few restaurants that could learn from them. Give plenty of sweet'n'sour sauce unlike other. Overall attitude is much higher than other. If my glass of water was half full she filled it up every time she seen it. Seems they care if they keep their diners come back unlike other.”

“Portabella mushroom melt. This thing has been around forever but this was my first time trying it. Tried it with and without my hot sauce and I have to say, both versions were absolutely to die for. Highly recommend if you have been on the fence about it, dawdle no more. It smelled SO good I forgot to take a picture of it and dove right in. Disappointed by the lack of photo but certainly not by the flavour or the presentation. Ask for extra napkins if you're in the drive thru.”

“A new establishment that has become a local favourite, I had to have my wedding here back in 2022, and I’m so glad I did! I still have people going out of their way to say it was the best they ever went to.The family and employees of Millstone were attentive and incredibly helpful. They connected me to local venders so I could have the best flower arrangements EVER from local florist, gave ideas and aid with set up and take down, had great ideas for colour designs that fit my vision, and of course the beer, and cider are top tier. They offered easy packages that supplied everyone at our wedding with yummy drinks, and the servers created a vibe that set every guest at ease, making sure everyone was happy.As for photos, there were endless possibilities at this location. The landscape showcases beautiful views of the valley, and it allowed us to capture this. We loved using the stretch tent, it was a perfect fit for dinner and having the best dance party. The evening vibes were awesome! I even saw some fireflies .I wish I could have my wedding all over again, just so I could experience this perfect day once more. Thank you so much Millstone for creating the best forever memories for my family, friends, myself and husband!”

“We just ate here today for lunch while waiting for our trailer to be fixed at Shaw. The place was packed and the hostess definitely gets her 20,000 steps a day. She was very nice and the food was great. I had fish cakes with the house salad and loved it. I cleaned my plate. My partner had the ginger peanut pasta and said it was good too. He said "I'd eat there again" which is big from him lol. His only complaint was he hoped for crunchy peanuts on the pasta. The sauce was yummy. Thank you!”

“We wanted a quick lunch that wasn't fast food! We has been out running errands all day and were starting to get hangry when we spotted the MAD sign. It smelled amazing as soon as we opened the door! Service was quick and friendly. My daughter and I each grabbed a chicken salad sandwich and a drink, some baked items and a Nanaimo Square. Everything was fresh, delicious and priced well. “I would give it a 5* ,, But We were there while there was live entertainment. Far too loud. We were at the back of the main room and couldn’t have a conversation. I’ve been there without entertainment and the atmosphere is 5*I recommend the Steak and Guinness Pie. 5*”

“No fuss just straight up delicious food. This was our first meal when we moved to Kentville just over 3 months ago. We got the meat pizza and the Donair pizza. Both were really good. My gf has never had Donair pizza before and she really liked it with the sauce. For me the meat pizza was really good. Cooked to perfection.Also had the fish n chips and they are really good. Yummy fish and thick cut fries!So glad this place is a block away from us to help with the cravings!”
