There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. Loved it all. The sushi is good and fresh! I'm not hug sushi fan until I ate here , delicious ? the staff are so very awesome, nice clean well kept place . Will def recommend and take my family ! Way better than sushi fang! 100 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨Parking: Parking spots are next to the place or in center square. Not wheelchair accessible.

Amazing. First time I've been able to stop in at Dayan and am impressed so much with this place. I wish they had seating, as I had to drive home, thinking about eating it all the way. However, it surely did not disappoint once I tucked into the dishes I bought. I got the Tokyo Combo and a Spicy Salmon. The salmon is so fresh, and just perfect. The spicy sauce is well balanced and allows the flavours of rest of the roll still come through. 100% will be back for more sushi / rolls...read full review
