“What a little local gem. Tucked in,quietly out of the hustle and bustle of the main drag. Comfortable and clean. When we arrived, we had time to take advantage of the happy hour apps and drinks.. that was lovely! The oysters were ultra fresh, the accompaniments were well done. Some dreamy potato beignets that were delicate and full of flavor, and the chicken burger we tried was delicious! We tried the craft
non alcoholic soda, and I've been wanting another ever since. They also had the hot sauce used available for purchase, which we picked up. Highly recommend stopping in!”

“We visited Luckett Vineyards in Nova Scotia on a Friday in early November, about an hour before closing. We were the only customers the entire time, which made for a wonderfully quiet and relaxing experience. The vineyard itself is absolutely stunning and the setting is peaceful.
We tried the Tidal Bay white wine along with a charcuterie board. The wine was fantastic — crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The charcuterie was very good as well, and we felt it offered great value for what we got.
I’ll definitely be returning in the warmer months to enjoy more of the outdoor scenery. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing vineyard experience!”

“I had a great experience at T.A.N. Coffee in Wolfville. The front counter girl was extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming. She served me very well and made sure everything was perfect with my order. Her positive attitude and great customer service really made my visit enjoyable. From speaking with Mike on the phone while booking, to the incredible staff who took care of us this evening, everything was handled so well. Hosting a large group, getting everyone fed with great food, and having us out in time for the Acadia game was no small feat. “My wife and I met two out-of-province couples for a meal at Rossie's Wolfville. I was used to Rossie's Kenville and always enjoyed eating there. Five of our group ordered from the breakfast menu, and I ordered Seafood chowder. The waitress rates a 10 for friendliness, efficiency, and attentiveness to our needs. The breakfast also rates high on our list. The seafood chowder, however, rates a 3-4 out of 10 for the following reasons: quantity, quality, and cost. The bowls could have been used as plates if they were any shallower. In the bottom of the shallow bowl were two prawns, one scallop, two pieces of a white flesh fish, which I assume was haddock, a white cream covering the bottom. As one who searches every menu whenever I visit an eating establishment, I am very disappointed in what I am served at Rossie's Wolfville. The $18.00 cost was way overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. I will eat at Rossie's again, but I never order seafood chowder.”

“Came to wolfville to visit my buddy for thanksgiving, came to Pronto Pizza for a quick slice and wowza those pizzas are amazing. You get a bunch of flavour in every bite, definitely get your moneys worth. Staff was very friendly, especially that Nash guy, buddy was a beauty.”

“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.”

“There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. The rolls were also a bit hard to eat as they fell apart when picked up. Fresh food and good value, but a little more variety in flavour would be appreciated.”

“I usually get a coffee with cream which has always been delicious coffee but today got a vanilla iced coffee and it seriously tasted like something you’d order in Hawaii! Glad to have a something comparable until I can go back to the islands! We love the coffeehouse!!!”

“Food was delicious, staff very friendly and fast service. My only complaint would be the morning sun in our eyes and no blinds. My main concern is staff/management needing training on serving Clamato juice. That has a very short shelf life when opened so bottles need to be dated when you open them. This juice was clearly spoiled, you could visually see it before tasting it. Very easy to get food poisoning from this! Other than that, two thumps up!”
