“Had a ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Breakfast Pizza. What's fresh and homemade all the ingredients were absolutely spot on the flavor was amazing and just the right amount of salt. Had a nice thin crispy base which I like and it reminded me of Italy just a little bit. The coffee here is awesome and there's always a pot on the go. And absolute must visit, if you'd like to have a little sweet with your coffee I suggest the coconut macaroon, this macaroon was fresh moist and didn't leave too many coconut pieces in my mouth. A down home menu with generous portions, baked beans and fish cakes to rival my Gram Winnie Rafuse's (sorry Gram) and fast friendly and efficient staff. great service and a charming family friendly atmosphere. If you miss our grandmother or moms cooking, Lisa has your back. Take home a loaf of homemade brown bread or a homemade peanut bitter pie....you will very glad you did.”

They have a courtyard which you can dine in year round, with a giant open fireplace for more than just ambiance. A view of Mt. Martock as well. The owner and staff are very friendly and the menu items are delicious - some items a little more up-scale from regular pub fare. Menu items are always served in a timely manner and very hot. It seems that there is very good coordination between the serving staff and the kitchen.”

“Went there in August. This place is beautiful and the people there are so welcoming and helpful. I'm not much of a wine drinker but wanted to try their wine. The girls were so patient and talked with me and my boyfriend and figured out what wines would suit us best and she did a perfect job. All the wines we tried, tasted amazing.”

Check out the Chicken Cobb sandwich!Dietary restrictions: As someone with lactose intolerance, the server beat me to the punch to ask for a substitute. I went with Oat milk, though there are more options.”

“We had a meet-up in Windsor, and being off-season, everything was closed on a Monday, but not the Spitfire! I had been here before a while back and was underwhelmed with the menu so was.a little dismayed. This time, it was just wonderful. It was warm and cozy, excellent service and the food was great. “I have been ordering here at least once a week for 9 years. Love the thin crust and great flavor. Sauce is absolutely delicious, I always order a little extra. The donair sauce is delicious too. No other pizza like it in NS, it stands out alone. It's not like those other pizza places where they use cheap ingredients that give you heartburn after eating it. There are so many People Complaining about Customer Service but realistically these people are just Mad at Themselves and Life in General. We all know someone that Sips their Coffee and says "Needs another 1/8 of a Teaspoon of Sugar" lol what they need is a Diet, not another 1/8 of sugar ?. Those people are just salty in life anyway so don't mind the Bad Reviews, the girls here are awesome. If you like Tim's Coffee and Smiling Ladies in the Morning then this is your kind of place.”
